I heard this on a British TV program (Spooks). The context: a CIA agent and an MI5 agent talking.

CIA: You know how you guys say we have Vulcans in the White House?
MI5: Yes.
CIA: Well, some of my colleagues have very pointy ears.

I don't get it.

From what you wrote I would assume the implication is that CIA agents are in the white house. As in, they've infiltrated it.
