Shipped 4/8.
Okay, I know. Not officially late yet, but still. I live in CA. Why does it always take this long? No other mail from the west coast takes this long. Pathfinder #7 didn't take this long, and it was shipped the same way.
Also? While we're on the subject, I've tried to change my subscription delivery method so many times it makes the Baby Jesus cry, and it never ever ever sticks, even when I make Gary (or is it Cosmo?) change it. It lasts for the one issue, then reverts back.
Gary, I know you're horribly overworked, but please fix this. Please?
You don't like making the Baby Jesus cry, do you?

Trudat.
The flu has hit the offices (ironically as they were shipping PF8) and I know Cos was out at least one day, so there is most likely a backlog of customer service tasks out there (also every time you bump it you go to the end of the line... thus why I'm only bumping it now when its at the top already)

I don't really have an answer for why your Pathfinder has not yet arrived. The 3-10 business day estimate is just that, an estimate. Our only control over USPS shipments is the address, and once a package has entered the keeping of the USPS, we can only wait an assume that it will show up within the usual amount of time. Easily 99% of the time, it does. Whenever USPS Standard Mail doesn't work for someone, I always recommend that the shipping method is changed to UPS Ground (which is trackable and over which we have considerably more control).
Which leads us to the second (and much greater) problem. Why does your subscription keep switching it's shipping method back to USPS Standard Mail? We have not found what it is that has been doing this, but we are searching your subscription to find whatever bug it is that's causing this.
Thanks,
cos

there has been no official reply to my post? What's up with that, guys?
Honestly... I hate giving an answer that is basically: "Dunno.. but we're looking into it". I much rather say: "Figured it out and fixed it!" I was hoping that I could bring you this answer today, but it seemed that you wanted to hear something. So there ya go. :)
We're still looking into it, so hopefully I'll be able to post again later with a better answer. :)
thanks,
cos
