Have the rest of the Golarion pantheon even had the rough ideas for their Heralds drawn up yet? The only ones I know of thus far (from Pathfinder Beastiaries) are Desna's Night Monarch (giant celestial butterfly), Lamashtu's Yethazmari (smoking-eyed winged jackal with a snake for a tail), and Abadar's Lawgiver (golden construct with a big hammer).
Any other ideas that we fans/you, the almighty developers know about yet?
(I asm because I'm debating on Pharasma's Herald showing up to put the kibosh on some PCs' plans for a bit of chronomancy-based mucking about with the past - pretty much begging for the Goddess of Fate's oversight.)

The thing is with the setting's stipulation that fate has been 'broken' for some time, Pharasma's Herald might look much more the goddess or birth and goddess of death than one of fate. (it would be cool to have the herald look like a young dragon on the right side of it's body and an ancient wyrm on the left side or something to represent the 3: young for birth wyrm for dieing of old age, and dragons because their millennium long plans often feel like an act of fate).

As a minor threadjack...
I like the idea of heralds. Avatars seem to be a direct representation of the god, and in that you are fighting a walking-on-earth god which should be a stellar fight and possibly one that shouldn't be won.
But a herald? I can whoop the s&!# out of a herald.
I shall aid you in your minor threadjacking, sir. I also like the idea of heralds. So much so, in fact, that I'm now in the process of giving them to all of my homebrew deities. I have 30. Wish me luck.
