About 3 dozen coins are scattered around the table, and a rather expensive looking knife is lodged deeply into the table. The King of spiders sits back down and smiles. After 10 seconds, he calmly says ..Begin. Before the word is even out of his mouth, The thug kicks at the knife, trying to snap it. He misses horribly and his foot lands on a coin. He slips, and reaches down to catch himself as he falls. Critical fumble: falls prone Keth: reflex since your hand is tied to his?

Elizabeth notices Arius concentrating on the cage as well and realizes she's not the only one in contact with the little dragon. She tries to catch Arius' eye and motion for him, with a nod of her head, to concentrate on the cage. She them moves around towards Devargo seductively, trying to draw his eye away from the direction of the hanging cage. She stands beside him and bends over, making sure that he catches an eyeful as she does so and whispers in his ear.
Devargo:
"My offer before was genuine you know. I have many things to offer for the information we seek," she hitches up her dress so that Devargo can catch a good look at both the smooth flesh of her leg and the large coin pouch strapped to her thigh, "so whenever you are ready to discuss the matter I am more than willing to do so in private" She ends the offer with a seductive smile and an almost imperceptable lick of her lips.

Not to be shown up by a barmaid, Keth takes out his opponent handily, knocking him out and winning the game.
The barmaid looks to be about 18, with long curly dirty-blonde hair and an athletic build. She is dressed elegantly, yet provocative. Her smile is accompanied by a slight giggle as she explains:Bog Grog is a rather sour tasting alcohol, it is a very acquired, yet cheap taste. Some of these thugish types like to have drinking contests with the stuff.. Personally, I don't think it's attractive that you can drink lots of something that you need to strain out with your teeth to avoid drinking the silt-like residue from the process.. She shrugs and goes about her business, staying in the room and refilling glasses as needed.
Arius:
it will take either two more knivesies matches or 500 gold to convince him to show you what you seek.

One such as you should never have rude things said about or to you. In apology for the male species, please accept these gold pieces and my words. If you ever need assistance, please look me up. Diplomacy Check. (1d20+9=28) Frackin' finally!
Before the next match starts, Elizabeth tries once more to distract Devargo. She easily undoes one more lace of her dress without anyone noticing, allowing quite an ample amount of her cleavage to show, before placing a hand on Devargo's shoulder and sliding herself onto his lap. She wraps the other arm around his neck and pulls his head ever so slightly so that his eyes glance down at her bust and the slit in her dress showing off her leg (and the coin pouch).

Just to clarify, the "small piece of parchment" that Arius read was meant to refer to Alli's note. I'm assuming that it has something of general interest like "Save me!" or "This is a trap!"
Arius then invokes the Hand of the Apprentice and concentrates on maintaining it. Are there any windows in here that he can subtly unlatch and open? He'd prefer not to release the dragon until (1) it has an escape route and (2) we have the evidence against the Ambassador for which we came.
