Liberty's Edge

Hi everybody, long-time lurker, first-time poster...

As I live in Canada, I'd like to know if Pathfinder Campaign modules (I mean Curse of the Crimson Throne, etc.) are shipped as magazines (and thus screwed in my too small mailbox) or as other shipments (and I have to go at my mail office to get it).

I wouldn't want to subscribe to Pathfinder and find all my treasured books bent...

Thanks in advance!

I live in Ottawa and am a subscriber. The modules come in a cardboard mailer, and it's pretty rugged and says "Do Not Bend" in big letters.

One of my modules had the corner slightly bent, but I've never had any serious damage, and Paizo is awesome about replacing damaged copies.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: One further note though. They do come in the regular mail, rather than a separate parcel delivery. Mine fit in my mailbox, I'm not sure how the post office deals with mail that won't normally fit.

Hey - I live in Ottawa too! - I'm also a subscriber and I second these comments. The cardboard mailer is too big to fit through the mail slot of most houses. They usually leave it leaning b/w the screen door and the house door.

As the previous posters have said, Pathfinders going to Canada will go in a stiff cardboard mailer with the words Do Not Bend printed prominently on the front.

We will definitely work with you if a volume or two gets overly beat up in transition. This just happens. However, if you have a small mailbox, it is your responsibility to come up with a method of regular safe delivery. We cannot replace every volume of a subscription (or even most, for that matter), especially since the replacements will have the same method of delivery as the regular shipments. If your home mailbox is small, your best bet would be to come to some understanding with your local post office/letter carrier (as Chaotic_easy_going has), or determine an alternative delivery address for your books (i.e. work, family, friend, etc.).

Thanks,
cos
