I just confirmed with one of my RotRL players that he will take over the DM's chair for CotCT. But Just as I was getting ready to hand him my PF-7 I just realised their might be spoilers of 1 to 6 ! Of course I can't check myself, so I turn to the boards for advice.
Do I have to wait untile the end of RotRL or can I hand it over blindly?
I suspect it's O.K. (it would make thing a bit complicated for a few people otherwise) but better safe then sorry!
Thank in advance!

I've only read the adventure and the first article, but so far that have been no real spoilers in #7 - there's someone who "escaped Sandpoint", but it doesn't say when they escaped or from what. Where are you in the RotRL? There is one monster that is similar to one from Nick's other adventure, so if you haven't done hill mountain I might hold off until at least that's done, to avoid confusion.
Also - I would make sure that you don't read the CotCT spoilers in PF6 - there is a whole article dedicated to telling the basic storyline of the entire path.

My players are still in Burnt Offerings (just finished the Glassworks and enjoying every seconds) so Nick's reference might be far enought apart.
Seeing (not reading) the spoiler in PF6 is what gave me the idea of sugesting it to one of my players!
Thanks for the info.
B.T.W.: Thanks for being vague about RotRL since the future CotCT-DM might lurk around this board in a while, unless that could be a RotRL spoiler source ... ? ! ARRRGH!
help! - again!

There aren't that many surprises in RotRL - unlike STAP where the storyline was very dependent on Vanthus turning up unexpected at different times. Many of the RotRL big monsters are expected just from looking at the cover of the adventure. While reading these boards might give him an idea of what people liked or didn't like, generally the boards don't go into the details of the encounter (unless mentioned in the title of the thread and thus easily avoided) he might read "The encounter withe the cube and 5 Kobolds was almost a TPK." or "E99 is a killer room" or "I like the way you used x character as part of RotRL story, will they or someone like them show up in CotCT?" But they don't know [list]
I'd say talk to the player about OOC vs in character knowledge, just in case, but all in all it seems OK as long as they monitor the titles of the threads they go into - most of those with spoilers for RotRL are easy to discern if you know the titles of the RL adventures. I might have them bookmark the CotCT board, so they arn't looking over the RotRL thread titles on the way to the CotCT board every time they come to it.

Thee is no real review of RotR. I probably would not give it to him until you were way closer to done just in caset here is something in an upcoming issues. And remember that there is also all that supplemental material - now in this one I saw nothing that would effect your Runelords game but who knows in the next 5 chapter.

Hey where did my post go!
Anyway, Thanks you guys for the input. I'll hand over ther PF7 and Players Guide (I pretty sure the Paizo people won't burn their own plot) but I'll tell him to hold off the boards for a while, until the antagonist of RotRL is out in our campain.
Thanks again!
A larger thread on this topic that occurred some time back.

Why not. If it makes for an interesting nod to adventures that have gone before I'd encourage them to do it. Its a lot of fun for the players if they encounter something that featured in a previous game even if the players characters would not know of the connection. Its on of the most powerful tricks one can use to convince the players that the fantasy world is a living breathing world.
Personally I hope Paizo includes as many spoilers as is fun and possible in the form of easter eggs and nods to what has gone before. If your group rotates then I suggest you don't read the introduction to PF#6 (spoilers for CotCT) and that the new DM does not get to start prepping for the next campaign until your about 1/2 way through PF#6 and there are no longer any significant secrets left to be revealed.

Thanks for the thread link, very useful especialy for the James Jaccobs comments.
As I mentionned earlier I didn't read the PF-6 preview at all.
From what I can understand and foresee being done in the APs I wouldn't call easter eggs and nods spoilers and as for the linking to a part of the plot of RotRL it might actually end up helping me since my players wounldn't leave that loose thread alone unless I have a "man on the inside" to help them put it on the back burner (and actualy hand it over to others). We (both DMs) might play with that behind the other players/characters backs to enrich both games.
I personnaly had strong suspicions about that developpement and I'll make sure to differentiate player knowledge and charater knowledge about the issue. I realy don't fell anything has been spoiled for me at all.
I know I'm being vague but I don't want to spoil anything and I still want to answer your usefull post(and it's kind on fun to speak in-between-the-lines but that's me)

I probably would not give it to him until it is closer to the time. And the Guide to Korvosa helps too.
