I've just downloaded my PDF of Pathfinder 7. The file sizes are huge compared to the earlier Pathfinder PDFs; 126 meg total vs. about 32 meg for Pathfinder 6. This is actually kind of a big deal, because I carry the files to work and back on my flash drive, and this kind of file size will eat up the space a lot faster. (It also took about 15 minutes to download, so I wonder it's going to cause server issues for you guys.)
So...is this:
(A) an error, and you'll be re-posting it with less of whatever is eating the space, Or
(B) you'll leave this set as-is but future ones won't be this space-intensive, or
(C) it's intentional because of higher-quality scans, and this is a heads-up that I'll need to get a bigger flash drive within the next couple of months.
Inquiring minds want to know!
(Just so you know, I'll be happy either way - it looks beautiful - but I just want to know what to expect, and if I should bother checking back at some point for a smaller download version. Thanks.)
hmmmm ... my dial up connection is about as fast as snails on a treadmill ... so I'd be interessted to know if the 126 megs is right myself. If it has to be that big for the art, ok I just take alot longer to download, but 32 megs is sure alot easier for me.

Based on the cover and the names of the files, my guess is this is what was sent to the printers. Notice in the from inside cover that there are printer calibration marks.
Anyway, neat to have, but a bit unwieldy to use. 18M per page. No thanks!

possibly its the opposite problem of the map folio pdf when it came out and was too low of a resolution....

We have updated the PDF of Pathfinder #7—Curse of the Crimson Throne Chapter 1: "Edge of Anarchy." The Foreword now appears in the single-file download, file sizes have been greatly optimized, and bookmarks have been improved.
Authorized users can download the updated version for free at https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/account/assets. (If the file shows that it has already been personalized, you'll need to repersonalize it before you can download the corrected version.)
