Age of Worms consumes the Realms -Gauging interest / player wrangling

I love the Age of Worms and the Forgotten Realms so here I am gauging interest in the potential for a v3.5 AoW PBP campaign set in my version of the Realms (mostly as written but please don't complain if I make the occasional 'tweak')

I'd like to run for 4 - 6 players. If I can wrangle that many I will set up a discussion thread with my outlines for character creation.

Please be patient with me as I'm new to running PBP but I quite recently finished running the AoW and adored it so much I'd love to run through it again!

Haha *tempts* It's made of awesome! Everyone loves a crazy adventure path ;) Besides it's partly your fault I'm doing this *pokes* Damn your infecting me with the PBP bug!

Yay! A UK-based PBP - count me in. It'll be my first time, too. I am currently DMing a Greyhawk-based AoW campaign - if that bothers you, then let me know.

That doesn't bother me at all, especially as I'm converting to the Realms so things should hopefully be different enough from the game you're running ;) I was planning on adding a couple of my own ideas here and there as well that'll hopefully help make it interesting for all.

I'd actually given up looking in this area, as the games always seemed to be full before I even saw the thread. If I hadn't, I might have noticed FabesMinis Treasure Hunt game before that became full! I spent most of my formative years in Devon, and now work in Bristol...

Games kept filling up on me too so I was all sorts of excited when I managed to pounce on the Treasure Hunt game. I guess the fact I finally snagged a PBP spot urged me forward even more in deciding to run a game so I could help more people get that happy 'Yes! I stole a PBP player spot!' feeling ;)

Full disclosure: I also am DMing Age of Worms right now, but my group is at the beginning of SoLS (with some AGoW wrapup), so i'm no longer all that familiar with the early parts. Also, i had transplanted the game into a heavily modified greyhawk, so a realms-based version ought to have a few surprises for me.

If all goes awry with one of my players I'm sure I'll be making puppydog eyes at you to try to get you to take the slot! ;)

edit:: I just wish I had more faith in my adaption of threat levels to stretch to 7 players - I hate saying no to people!!

I've been hoping to get in on AoW game, but I was traveling today, blast it!

Any chance you'll keep a waiting list? There doesn't seem to be as much player turnover here as on some dedicated pbp sites, but sometimes things happen . . .

Damn my difficulty with saying no to people! I will definately keep note of names for a waiting list/reserves and will consider having a second party - I could race them! ;)

Between Fabes, Pat, xdahnx and Ricky we do have enough for a second party - consider my arm twisted! If all four of you are up for it I can really put the prep work I'm doing to good use and run two parties through the AP

Since we are the B team, is there anything wacky you've been dying to try out, but not wanted to spring on your primary group?

Well Fabes, I recognize the core roles, but simultaneously recognize the diversity that none-core classes can bring to a game!

That being said, I am cool playing either the mage (wizard?arcanist?) or the cleric (mystic? shaman?).
