If you could be more specific about your rogue, the community here could offer some very nice options.
1. You could stay as a rogue beyond level 20. This grants you access to some epic feats that are barred from other classes.
2. You could gain levels in another base class. Whether it be ninja, swashbuckler, beguiler, monk, or anything else, you'll have to balance the pros and cons of multiclassing (the PHB's section on this is worth reading). Beyond level 20, multiclassing takes a new twist: the class will no longer affect base attack bonus and saving throws. If you wanted Monk levels for the good saving throws, for example, the point is moot.
3. You could choose a prestige class. Just like pre-20, you'll have to meet the requirements. You still won't gain different base attack bonus or different saving throw bonuses apart from the epic progression.
With these things in mind, and the fact that you'll now be playing an epic character, I suggest a couple paths for you: either stay a rogue and keep boosting those skills and sneak attack, or; consider the Gatecrasher PrC from the old Manual of the Planes 3.0 (errata available). It is essentially a planes-hopping rogue and gains several abilities useful for travel and fighting outsiders.

Where to now?
do I take monk or ninja or............IM SO LOST!!!
After lvl 20 leave Red Ridge and go to Darkshire. (<--Not helpful, Warcraft reference)
On the other foot, I like the Rogue for Rogues sake. I usually end up staying a rogue while other ppl end up prestige classing. After lvl 20 the game tends to get stale unfortunately, seemingly even more so if you just play meat and potatoes. 4th ed is suppose to change this, heres hoping.

If you're playing 4E, you'll be becoming a god pretty soon...
In all seriousness, though, I think you should continue as a rogue. Have your DM explain the situation of Epic Levels to you. (c.f. DMG 206)
Really, I would suggest to your DM to conclude your game and start a new one, as epic levels are pretty broken.

I statted up a drow rogue-assassin-perfect wight. It was pretty darn sick.
Add levels of shadowdancer and it's even sicker. ;-)
Since it's impossible to qualify for perfect wight until 27th character level (Self Concealment requires 30 ranks in both Hide and Tumble), a rogue 6/assassin 11/shadowdancer 10/perfect wight x is the way to go, IMO. Add in Reducing Level Adjustments for even more sickness.

20th level Rogue? Start taking Fighter levels if you aren't worried about the skills. All those bonus feats to snatch every epic feat you can. Plus d10s to buff your HP.
Technically, you can't use the bonus feats for non-epic (less than 21st) fighter levels to take epic feats. You are restricted to the standard fighter bonus feats.
