Oh, I'm sorry. But from e4 you don't have line of sight at the spellcaster, so I guess in my brain I read "gnoll" where you plainly said "spellcaster."

Looks to me that Harvak, Beldan, and Becton are left; need a position for Gittik; or I might just dmpc that in an hour cos it's almost Aubrey's bed time.
Harvak dashes into a mad run, like a hulking ape he climbs the stairs in bounding strides, the greatsword black and starry skied held aloft in his great hands he stands poised looking meancing at the wizard.

Beldan stays crouched down in the shadows under the upper gallery, his now loaded crossbow trained on the wizard. Make magic man, he thinks. Make my day.

"Looks like somebody's got to be the distraction..." Becton utters as he charges into the room (to K6, if possible). He'll try to clear Stig's path by shooting at the gnoll with his crossbow - if he can from that angle. Otherwise, best shot possible.

Becton rushes forward, fires, and misses. His bolt hits the bannister.
The wizard grimaces at the cleric. "Shoot the bastard!" then notices the massive halforc breathing in his face. He gestures, uttering ancient phrases. Now there are 3 more of him. 4 of him total, darting merging about him.
Beldan's arrow hits him in the chest and clatters to the ground impotently.
The gnoll drops his bow, and brandishes a two-handed greataxe at Harvak. He hews at the halforc, but in his haste cuts a horribly useless swing that the halforc barely has to sidestep.
ROUND 4!!! Anybody's and everybody's go!
Altai jogs into the room and squeezes off a shot at the spell-defended wizard.
Altai hits where he thinks the wizard is in an arcane shell game.
One of the simulacra disappears. Now there are 2 simulacra and 1 wizard.
Becton will reload and again let loose at the gnoll to keep him off Harvak (I thought Stig was in there too?).
Becton misses again; the shot into melee makes him hesitant to hit his comrade.
The wizard shakes his fist at ye:
"Damn you Pelorite!!! Damn you all!!! I had the perfect operation, and it'd still be running if it wasn't for you accursed adventurers!
I'll take you all down to hell with me!!!"
He really doesn't like clerics.

Hope that keeps him distracted long enough for somebody to nail his hide.
