Hey folks,
Some Pathfinder-only subscribers will be receiving a free copy of GameMastery Module U2: The Hangman's Noose with their shipment of Pathfinder Volume 6: Spires of Xin-Shalast.
This is a free gift from us going out to many (but not all) Pathfinder-only subscribers, selected at random. As this module is not a part of a subscription, you will not be getting the PDF for free. However, if you like what you see, I know a place where you can get PDF's of GameMastery modules for free. ;)
Thanks,
Cosmo

I notice it showing "pending" on my subscription screen, right below the notice that it shipped. If I'm one of the lucky randoms, cool, I can let one of my players use the extra copy to see if I can entice them into subscribing.
Just wanted to point out that this was a pathfinder only subscriber. Sorry man, you are subscribed to multiple things. I am keeping my fingers crossed though.
I hope I am not sounding like a jerk, I am not intending to be.

I got a pack of item cards.
I really didn't appreciate the use of item cards. That was until I also received a surprise booster of item cards in a recent order.
After seeing first-hand the beauty and quality of these cards, and imagining how I might use them in-game, I was SOLD!
Since then, I ordered Elements of Power and Dragon's Trove, to see what the range was like. Then I received Rise of the Runelords pack with my Chronicles subscription. And now, I've just placed an order for the remaining sets.
I suspect item cards have been a "sleeper" hit - from a slow start, gaining popularity as more and more customers are exposed to them. I imagine most customers spend their cash on adventures, sourcebooks, and possibly miniature products to play their games - item cards are seen as nice, but non-essential. But now that Pathfinder item cards are included with Chronicles subscriptions, many will already have received their first hit of item cards, and been wooed by their beauty and utility.
I have to say, this is seriously clever marketing! Spreads goodwill among customers, you get to sample the line first-hand, and Paizo get more converts, because who can resist?
I'm already a GameMastery subscriber, but I hope Paizo get a good conversion rate with this free bonus, because GameMastery are truly excellent monthly adventures, and a wonderful companion product to Pathfinder.

I have to agree with DarkWhite about the cards
I love the artwork on them mainly but I can see where they would come in handy in a game, right now I'm more less just using the artwork from them in my online game.
Almost tempted to get a box of each of the first releases. How is that for marketing, ha ha
