I was bored and started making Pathfinder compilation PDFs for my own quick reference and noticed something amusing.
Article of the same types have the same background.
Bestiaries all have the same green background.
Desna and Lamashtu have the same background.
Even Sandpoint, Magnimar, and Varisia have similar backgrounds.
Maybe one day we'll see the various articles combined in their own compilation style books.

By the way, I think the Paizo layout artists and graphic designers are some of the unsung heroes in the office there. I have been consistently impressed with the work they put out. From Dungeon and Dragon Magazine, to the Shackled City AP HC (an opus of layout), to the new Pathfinder stuff.
Very fine work. Please pass my praise on to them as someone who has worked as a graphic artist.

You have detected the Invisible Hand of Sarah Robinson.
Galleys for #7 hit my desk today (before rapidly being snatched back up), and she's really upped the ante on the look of the new Adventure Path.
I can't wait for you to see it!
I hope it has the larger font. While I support the decision not to change the look during an adventure path I do get really tired of those small little scribbles and I don't think I can do much more of it.

Hi Robert,
from the Januaryh 8th chat transcript (JJ = James Jacobs):Pathfinder: Curse of the Crimson Throne
JJ: "ALSO: I've seen Pathfinder's new font IN ACTION. The font we're switching to starting with Pathfinder 7. It's pretty nice. It's a little bit bigger, and uses the space between letters a LOT better, so that even though we're running it at a slightly larger size, we aren't really losing much at all in the way of content space over the font we have in Runelords. It's the same font we use in the GameMastery modules. Pathfinder will be running it at 8.5, whereas the GameMastery mods run it at 9, so it'll be a little smaller than what you see in a GameMastery mod. We'll be sticking with a 2 column layout for Pathfinder. And the page treatments are getting a facelift. They'll get a redesign with each new Adventure Path. Plus... the inside front covers are going to have a bit more detail and info. We'll be listing stuff like 'Korvosa's Hierarchy' and 'Korvosa's Enemies' in a family tree style layout."
Hope that helps a bit.

Just a quick second of the above. One of the reasons Paizo is consistently great is the look of their products. A lot of 3rd parties make good products, but Paizo is just about the only one to make good products that look great.
