Rise of the Runelords

I just opened the PDF for SotS an I've got to tell you, when I saw this demon, All I could think was: Aw Isn't it cute! It'll be like getting your ass beaten by a Muppet. Love the artwork. I can't wait to use this critter.

Heh. My wife took a look at that picture and started to laugh. Then she asked me why it's smiling? Whatever. Trust me. This thing'll be smiling real nice when it rips your characters to bloody shreds >:)

Yep, gonna hafta change that face. A lot.

Ha! Different strokes I guess.

I was flipping through the pdf and this monster just jumped out and grabbed me. I was like DAMN that thing is cool!

And its gargantuan. I almost pictured what it would look like as a big D&D Icon miniature.

Oh well I still think it ruled.

Me to. Just to make things clear for Paizo; I want my PDF, today. If I do not get it today I will continue to refresh my downloads page until your bandwidth is exceded and the site is shutdown. Do not tempt me. I am willing to sacrifice my F5 key and index finger to rectify this injustice.

That is all.

Lesson learned; Threats never work:

Threaten Paizo by spamming F5 key from Friday until Monday. Finger now hurts and may forever be stuck in a crooked position.

Yes, you are awesome and I am sorry for adding another .02 cents to your bandwidth bill.

I got my downloads now, too.

Yes, he looks like a teddy bear. Like an Evil Teddybear of Doom straight from your Childhood's Worst Nightmares.

Teddy bear? I think it looks like a puppy.

A half-praying mantis demon puppy the size of a house, but still, more puppy then bear.

I agree with this sentiment, and all I can state about it is... ahhhhh puppy dahg!

Demon proceeds to bite lojakz face off while he tries to pet him

Not everyone uses a browser. (And no, the Internet Explorer is no broswer. It's a lame excuse for a browser)

Any ideas on what kind of "mini" to use for this sucker? I'm at a loss.

It's not really elegant, but I blew up the picture, printed it on card stock, and then glued it to a four-inch square of thicker card stock. Of course, I did this after the group go to the critter, so I never got to use it in a game. In the game I just subbed a huge mini on a four-inch base. :|

Dare we hope that it's in the pipeline for the Pathfinder miniatures? :D

Postmen all over the world are plotting your demise right now. That thing would weigh a kilogramme.

How about a real teddy bear? One that has bug arms stuck into it, of course.

Does anyone else remember the huge 24" stuffed Winnie the Pooh they made back in the late 90's?

"Oh bother," said Pooh, as he swallowed Seela. "Holy smite always upsets my tummy."
