Wooo! Hooo! This has absolutely hands down made my night. I'm absolutely waiting to get this one.
Nualia is a personal favorite of mine from the whole Adventure Path so far, and from what I can see from the teensy little picture it seems like she's been finally done the kind of justice I would have hoped.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!
That smashing sound was my piggy bank getting murdered.

Keep clicking on the picture and you can get it to blow up to a size that is pretty much 1:1 with the actual minis. No more teensy little picture. :)

I think these Mini's for the Adventure Path are a Great Idea!!...
But I will never buy them...
Why you ask?
Not pre painted..
I just do not have the time or skill to put into painting these minis..
And nothing annoys me more then using un-painted minis...just bugs me for some reason....
I always loved the Wotc Plastic pre-painted minis... if it wasn't for them selling them in random packs (therefore making it impossible for me to buy exactly what I wanted easily) If they sold them in set packs I would have spent alot of money on them.
Question to Paizo..
Ever thought about selling these in pre painted plastic mini non-random packs? would that not have opened it to more buyers?.. Or would it have been to expensive?

I'm not an official for Paizo or anything but I'd be willing to bet...
1. Non-randomized minis are still relatively unproven (Rackham just came out with Ragnarock, the Age of Confrontation but if it doesn't go over huge, they're finished and Reaper's only had one wave of non-random prepainted miniatures done.)
2. It's not being done in house. Crocodile Games does Wargods of X (Aegyptus and Olympus and Hyboria I believe) but no prepaints.
3. The molds are a lot more expensive and this looks like a fairly small, limited line.

There are people whom can do this for you like (interestingly enoug he's had the screen name for years) Runelord's Minis

Making the master mold for plastic minis is apparently MUCH more expensive than for metal. The individual minis are cheaper to produce but unless you're producing HUGE numbers of them like Games Workshop the line ends up more expensive in the long run than doing it in metal. And then add the cost of prepainting onto that....
You probably could find some teenager at your local hobby store to paint them for you. OR check out my website for tips on Painting For Dummies.

In the case of these minis, I would do the following:
Goblins: spraypaint them green, ink them in black, and pick out details with a metallic pen. Nualia: spraypaint her in flesh, ink her in brown, pick out the details with a red pen, and maybe metallic on the sword. Familiar: spraypaint in red, ink in black, that ought to do it.
Sinspawn: spraypaint white, ink in red or pink, tough up with brown or green pen on the cloth.
Valeros: spraypaint metallic silver, ink with yellow-brown, tough up flesh with a fleshtone pen.
Not counting drying time for the spraypaint and sealer, we're talking about 5 minutes for each mini.
To Paizo: I would LOVE to do a painting-for-dummies sort of article on my site -- or your site -- to help out people new to painting. It would be really really easy to do....

That's awesome! I got a chance to check them out a little better and I love the detail. One more question. Any chance we could get a look at the painted versions of these? It always gives me a better sense of the finished product. The goblin pyros, for example, look awesome painted up and you really get a sense for what they can look like. Could we, perchance get to see the painted versions of Nualia and her imp up sometime as well? It would be much appreciated!
You guys are great.

I think it would be pretty easy to speed-paint these minis, even with zero skill. I even wrote a pair of articles for my site about it.
Painting for Dummies
Speed painting: Inking
Regarding these specific minis, I would....
Goblins: spraypaint green, ink in black, touch up details with brown, metallic, and red pens.
Nualia: spraypaint fleshtone, ink in black, touch up with red or brown pen.
Familiar: spraypaint red, ink black, perhaps touch up stone with gray pen.
Sinspawn: spraypaint off-white, ink red, pen with brown.
Valeros: spraypaint metallic, ink black, pen in fleshtone and perhaps gold.
It would take perhaps 5 minutes per mini, plus drying time for the spraypaint and ink.
Paizo folks: I would LOVE to do a photojournal showing how to do this with these minis. Talk to me. :) And yes, I realize some of the pics look crappy, that's because I wanted to show how they'd look if you put no effort into it at all. Actually being careful produces much better results. :)

Joe is pretty much spot-on there, though point 3 is the main issue for Paizo, and point 1—while true—isn't that big a deal to us (because minis are not our core business).
