Dumb question about GameMastery

I love pathfinder so much I was considering gamemastery stuff, but was wondering, do they take place in golarion, or a 'generic' fantasy world?

They take place in Golarion. In fact, to date the GameMastery Modules have given the biggest glimpses of the world beyond Varisia.

Most of them do. W1: Conquest of Bloodsworn Vale takes place right next door to Varisia, and D2: Seven Swords of Sin takes place inside Varisia, but the rest of them are all over the world.

which is really annoying in a great-to-see-the-wider-world kind of way but in fact it would be great-to-have-you-focus-on-one-area as well.

not that i'm really complaining mind though my wife will be when she realises how many packages are arriving from Paizo in the next few months!!!!
