I am writing up a side adventure my group used in conjunction with a Pathfinder module, and would like to put it up on a web site and make a pointer to it here.
Is it legal for me to say, "For this NPC's stats, use the ranger on page X of Pathfinder #3"? Or does that infringe on Paizo's turf? I don't want to do that.

I am not sure of the specific legalities involved or even if Paizo can comment on this. However, as long as you are making your side treks for personnal use and not intending to sell them or charge access to the site or something, I think you are fine.
If I am reading you correctly you are not suggesting that you will be actually posting information generated by Paizo but will be directing people to access their product. I can't see how they would have an issue with that... it encourages more people to buy their product!
Note also that others have posted side treks on these boards that reference materials from the Pathfinder products and have not had them 'yanked' for copyright infringement.
I look forward to seeing what you have done!

IANAL and IDSFP (I don't speak for Paizo)
Remember that the character names and settings are the property of Paizo (per the OGL). While you could say that some unique character name uses the same stats as one in a Paizo adventure (the mechanics are open content), the character names are Paizo property.
Self-publishing (even for free over the web) of an adventure using their character names/settings is against the OGL.
Now, as for what Paizo's position would be, that's beyond me.

If it was me and I'd be making an adventure accessible on a website I'd probably use names but refer for details about said name to the Paizo website and products. So if I was to write, the players meat up with Shalelu (ref link: http://www.paizo.com/pathfinder) Patfinder #3 page 6). That way if the player wishes to look up who or what is Shalelu they either have to search through the paizo blog or buy pathfinder.
Names/Locations should be safe but actual content isn't.

spelling mistake obvious :p
I claim 'not my first language' defense or 'they made me do it'
Normally Vic is in these threads to shed the true light on this sort of questions. Of course I mean the copyright question!

Use of proper names is definitely against OGL in any way. I would also not use the premades from DMG as they are not OGL either. Assuming you want to keep thing s all nice and legal like.
That said, you could get a program like PCGen, that will make it easy to make premades and upload their info to the website. It would also make for more unique characters. I personally hate running into generic ranger for the seventh time in a campaign.
While reading the open content part of pathfinder 3, I noticed something I never noticed before and do not understand what it means. What is "trade dress?"

I expect that Vic will be back posting in these threads starting again on Wednesday. Since last Thursday, he and I have been having a CR19 encounter with my parents for Christmas. :) That is not to mention the CR25 encounter with the other shoppers trying to do their last minute shopping like us! Today, it is a CR21 Christmas Eve dinner staring us in the face. Hopefully, by Wednesday, we will have leveled and will be back to our normal Paizo selves. :)
Have a great holiday!

But considering that you are level 30 and Vic has no stats (making him either a deity or, better yet, plot hook NPC immune to anything), those should be easy encounters barely worth XP. Unless CEO and DM are NPC classes making your CR ~15
