review, Faindriac will take position at D19 to use the broken Howdah as cover from any undead charges/attacks. If possible he will assist Maliki in searching the fried driver. If not, that's ok, he's pretty tired.
Faindriac observes the emergence of the elf with a scowl, and observes his casting and fading from view with a raised eyebrow. He then watches Maliki climb up to the tethered, fried former driver. "Please let me know if you require assistance." He says curtly. But it is painfully obvious that his attitude is bravado, and that he is standing only through sheer willpower.
He leans against the howdah, and closes his eyes, "Cair d'Niac! Where are you! Awaken you lazy hunk of stone! Your master commands it!"
I try to sense if my Psicrystal is within 1 mile. This and getting into position will be my actions this round.

G'mork |

Things got a little messy with the initial search, casting, and initiative, but finally I figured it was more important to move things along than be right, so no worries.
Round recap:
Kha-Chik-Chik-Ka, eager to stretch his wings after the protracted incarceration, plucks a piece of down and releases it into the wind. The spirit guardian of his homeland answers his plea, and Kha-Chik-Chik-Ka‘s talons sharpen and elongate subtly. Tired but powerful wings beat, propelling him into the air and giving him a commanding overview of the battlefield.
Holdrus consults with Aso briefly, then takes up the Blood Obsidian Falchion and stands ready to defend the impromptu shelter, corded muscles rippling across his scarred, uncovered form.
Shenker darts around to the front half of the broken Howdah, quickly riffling the dead Elf for possessions. Peeling aside charred layers fused flesh and clothing, he finds a large crystal of some sort (yellow-orange, smooth, and with a fairly recent but faint crack running down the length of it), a serviceable sling, and a cracked and ruined pouch of four smooth pebbles. (You escaped quickly, so I moved your inertial armor to the pre-combat round, just assume it is on).
Aso, taking up his newfound dagger in one hand, runs to the rough trade road and begins to taunt the beast, whooping and waggling his genitals at it with his free hand.
Zuko scrambles away from the rest of the party, practically wetting himself in anticipation of the ecstasy of flame’s renewed embrace. (since the throw was one extra action, I actually did your move the round before, pre-combat, along with the lesser resto.) Calling forth the power of his element, he hurls an aspect of fire at the beast, igniting the left eye socket and replacing the red glow of necromancy with an amber blaze of purification.
MalaKi, ever the patient warrior, waits for an advantageous opening before revealing his hand. While the battlefield takes shape, he moves to Shrenker’s side, reviewing the contents of the dangerous human’s rummaging. (If you like, you may pick up an item this round).
After insuring his new colleague is free of his bonds, Skarsnikt prepares for the arrival of their erstwhile prison transport by assuming a more advantageous tactical position.
Kirrish-Kreshk-Skiklik, observing the other Kreen, instinctively moves in compliment to the party’s hasty battle plan. Wordlessly, he waits for the beast’s advance at the edge of the road, to the northwest of Aso.
Illyen, less drained than he initially appeared, extends his hands before him, palms down, drawing life from the sand; for even the driest wasteland contains life on a level which the sharpest eye cannot discern. Feeling the rush of life kindle his spell, he shunts the addictive flow of power with great difficulty, halting only just before committing irreparable damage to the land. With a word of power, he vanishes from sight.
Radik, full of piss and vinegar, explodes from his bonds; with the howdah at his back, he prepares to meet death standing up.
Faindriac converts thought to reality, armoring himself with an invisible mental field as strong as precious iron. Issuing a mental call to his psicrystal, he receives a weak reply. Though injured in the lightning strike, the autonomous fragment of his personality clings tenaciously to life. Faintly, Cair d'Niaf reports it is looking into the countenance of quite possibly the ugliest human you have ever seen.
Unsure of what to make of his new “companions,“ Issiki girds himself with a shield of defensive cerebral force and tactically retreats to get a better grasp on the situation.

G'mork |

A creature of immense size and power in life, in undeath the Mekillot is no less imposing, though perhaps a measure less stubborn. A thickset, thirty-five foot long lizard with twin curling horns atop its head, and saw-toothed jaws like a vice of stone, the unfeeling beast barely registers the flare smoldering away in its skull.
Hollowed out and stripped down for cargo transportation, the creature moves faster than you would anticipate. With an empty roar, the beast charges Aso down, intent on beating the insipid gnat into paste. (Charge / Awesome blow. - G'Mork rolls 1d20+6 to Bull Rush Aso Total: 12 +6 = 18. Bull rushing seemed cheap, with the 3 size category difference).
The massive mound of dead flesh connects solidly with Aso, and the snap of broken ribs is audible even as far away as the Howdah (Damage = G'Mork rolls 2d6+15 to Damage Total: 5 +15 = 20).
- Aso, could you make a DC20 Reflex save? Thanks! -

New Round Initiative:

Holdus (F18)
Zuko (G24)

Aso (K15, possibly K17)
Illyen (E17)
Radik (F19)
Faindrac (E19)
MalaKi (H19)

Don't fret overmuch about posting in order; I'll knit it out.

MalaKi |

MalaKi, ever the patient warrior, waits for an advantageous opening before revealing his hand. While the battlefield takes shape, he moves to Shrenker’s side, reviewing the contents of the dangerous human’s rummaging. (If you like, you may pick up an item this round).
MalaKi shouts, “Can anyone use this?!” while picking up and holding up the sling. He is addressing Issiki and Faindriac.

Aso |

On his init, for the second round, in K-17:
Aso stands up (move action), resumes his screeching, and pulls apart his butt cheeks at the beast. He gets ready to seriously dodge this time (Total defense as a standard action, Rage, AC:17, HP: 29--EDIT: should've done that before but I forgot, also just re-read rules and I can rage and total defense... can I?). Time slows down. He focuses in on the beast, his skin tingles. The red rage consumes him.

Kirrish-Kreshk-Skiklik |

Kirrish will invoke his metaphysical claw ability.
With exhaustion factored in, his attacks look like this: one claw +4 (1d4+1)- full attack is one claw +4 (1d4+1), three other claws +3 (1d4) and bite +1 (1d4, poison likely doesn't apply).
And then moves over to K13 in the hopes of getting a full attack in next round. Hopefully that's not an attack of opportunity. Because I'm not ready to get squished.

G'mork |

Hopefully that's not an attack of opportunity.
It has 10 feet of reach (15 feet upwards for the bird guy), so it'll thwack you if it still has an AoO when its turn rolls around, assuming it hasn't used it by then, moved itself, or is simply too stupid to acknowledge you.
Aso is looking over the Mekillot in hopes of seeing damage from its previous fight.
It looks like hell, the elves died hard.

Holdrus Rippor |

Holdrus was by Aso before he got hit so he should be able to 5' step and attack the beast with his newly acquired Falchion. If not the action may change but...
Holdrus steps in and swings with the Blood Obsidian Falchion, hoping to score a good hit on the beast. To hit=11, damage=9.
"Halfling are you still living!?!"

G'mork |

Did the slavers take Radik's mace, or will he have to lay the beatdown on the mekillot by hand?
If they thought they could sell your hair they’d have shaved that off too.
Holdrus was by Aso before he got hit
Weird, I've you by the Howdah. I could fudge it a bit and get you there with a charge if you want?
Kirrish yells the Thri-Kreen equivalent of "forever young!"
Kirrish clicks loudly and squirts the smell of roses into the air.

So... Is it in the howdah, or in the "cargo compartment" inside the mekillot?

Dude, they sold your shit. You're going to have to make a mekillot-bone one.

Kirrish-Kreshk-Skiklik wrote:Dude, they sold your s#*%.One more reason to hate them. Might show up later though...( <-Dots o' Foreshadowing)
Ooh.. Shiny new plot-hooks. I loooove plot hooks. Oh, and James, that was well said. No big deal, I was just wondering where everyone's stuff was. *readies unarmed strike*

Faindriac Fellstar |

MalaKi shouts, “Can anyone use this?!” while picking up and holding up the sling. He is addressing Issiki and Faindriac.
Faindriac glances over at the ugly human, who is holding out what appears to be a sling towards him. "My mind is my weapon scarred one. I only require my psicrystal, and I, shall,... 'ugly human'?!?!"
Faindriac makes a 15 spot check. IF that spots the yellow crystal in his other hand, he does the following,...
Faindriac staggers, wide eyed, towards Maliki. "The crystal! It is mine! Give it to me! Gently!" He hisses emphatically. Taking a shuddering breath to regain a measure of self control, if not decorum, Faindriac looks the scarred warrior straight in the eyes and adds, "Please." Calmer, but no less intensely.
Assuming Maliki gives up the crystal,...
Despite his earlier request to be gentle, Faindriac all but snatches the yellow crystal from the warriors hand. He inspects it carefully. "You live Cair. Damaged, but reparable. It seems your stubbornness has served us both well this time." He looks back to Maliki, "Thank you." He nods as if to an equal. You get the impression that it is not something he does often. "Now observe the power of the mind as a weapon!"
With an undisguised grin of feral glee he turns to face the undead monstrosity bearing down on them. His eyes flare silver, and a pulse of energy flares into being and races towards the Mekilliot.
Game speak, So, Move action next to Maliki, Free action spot, Free action chat, still have standard action for manifesting power?
If so, then am manifesting energy ray (touch att)as fire (+1 dmg/dice) at full power. 4PP for 4d6+4 of dmg.
Rolled 14 for touch att here
Rolled 15+4=19 damage

Illyen Ven'dreth |

Or you can have the metamagic specialist alternative class feature from PHB II, the casting time is not increased for spontaneous arcance casters when using metamagic feats. You lose the familiar, though. Just a suggestion :D
I'm not actually a sorcerer, but I am a spontaneous caster... so I have no familiar to give up. :)

G'mork |

Did I hit it?
I didn't want to spoil it until the wrapup, but somehow you managed to miss a 35' dead lizard. I figure I'll downplay that into it "bounced."
IF that spots the yellow crystal in his other hand
Should be sufficient.

Technically spot isn't a free action in combat, but I'm easygoing like that. We'll pretend it was a 5' step.

Shenker wrote:is the mekillot talking back, Renfield? That decade s!~#ting through the bars of a cage and chewing the skin off slaughtered animals has affected his mind just a little. I don't think you guys are gonna have much luck getting clothes on him.
I have two toddlers. Try me.

Zuko |

Kha-Chik-Chik-Ka |

Once any other person engages the enemy; I will fly in to attack the flank; cant charge while exhausted; so just regular half move of 45 and attack with natural attack; am pretty sure if I understand it right I am at +0 modifier; roll to hit; 16; 14, 8 if more than one needed; Please roll applicable damage for me and add flanking bonus; am pretty sure with a -6 str and adding in my spell; am at +0 damage.

Shenker |

"Ere I know right what to do with that sling you just found that I found."
Shoots a stone, 16 roll +3bab +1 dex=20;is there a minus for crowds like?
Damage 1d4=4 points woo hoo!!!!!
Damn. -4 is a 16; I don't feel like that hit.
I lost my marble. Ha ha....

G'mork |

I don't feel like that hit.
Well, here's the deal. It won't, BUT, I have yet to stroll through the round (feeling drag-arse tonight) and it's possible it isn't actually in melee because of the knockback by the time your turn rolls around, in which case I won't penalize you and it would hit. Cross your phalanges. :)
