Many of you maybe have felt the same frustration I have felt when someone is organizing a PBP campaign and always there are more players than slots so the DM describes exigents requisites to reclute players and for me at least it is always a rejection. Most of the times the rejection is tied to only minor and unimportant details but DM commands so what can I do?
I am tired of that I want to play just to play for fun as all of us do it, without having to write a novel about my character to be accepted.
So this is my proposal, I will run a campaign (1 to 20 level) to 4 players and all of them will run later a campaign the same lenght and they will accept me without imposing any restriction other than the indispensible to run it. So be aware that this campaing is not for the players only but to those that regularly run campaigns.
My experience as DM is not rich but poor either, my gaming group lately is busy and they are not attending the sessions so I have decided leaving living games and opting for PBP.
This are the campaign's characteristics:
Setting: Forgotten Realms at the Vast although we can move for the realms if you decide so.
Classes:Any
Abilities: 80 points between the six abilities
Sources: All stuff from Paizo and WotC, third party d20 publishers stuff will need approval.
Starting level: 1
Allowed Races: Any core races.
Important: I will use pre-made adventures with a lot of changes to fit in the campaign I will consult to players if they know the adventure before running it.
I will use the Forgotten Realms source books from 2.0 so I will use that timeline.
Any other question you can freely ask.
WARNING: If any of the players don't fullfil his/her part of the deal I will never never ever leave him/her play in any of my campaigns and will tell the community about his/her lack of honesty.

Well, I think that is part of the human nature everybody wants people doing things for them but nobody is willing to do the same things for other. Well this proposal is finished. I will continue gambling at the PBP lotery, maybe someday I could win a slot.
I think you just need to jump in fast when one comes up. I'm in 2 and neither DM ever pronounced any requirements other than post once per day and first come first serve.
No one is trying to slight you and you are very welcome here.
I suspect that you are not getting an answer because nobody wants to make promises they may not be able to keep. Personally I can't DM a pbp because I've already got a weekly game in meatspace.

You know, it's just a guess, but it could have been this line that turned people off...

*shrugs* Or maybe people just don't want an FR game. I don't know.
I've only noticed you post in one pbp recruitment thread here lately ... I know a few folks here that have tried for months to get into various games, and they usually get something in the end.
Good luck with finding your game.

You are right this could be tough but maybe I have been so many times cheated that lately I don't trust many people. But I only ask for someone running a campaign with me inside and in reciprocity I will run one with him/her inside, is that too much to ask?

I think putting conditions on something is not a good way of building rapport. I think you need to post and be seen. Join a game, make some friends, then DM a game, but above all be patient.
Nobody wants to dismiss you. We want to make you feel welcome here, but to a certain extent, a guy or gal has to work for a little recognition on a messageboard and its up to her or him to do it.
So where are you from?

I appreciate all your words, there are not many people outside today willing to take the time to make you feel well. Ok I made a mistake, maybe I was unawared of the rules to proceed with this community. Now I apologize with all the people that read this post, I will put my thoughts in order and will return to start a PBP game without any condition to everyone who want to get in. Thanks.
