If I subscribe.....

Ok, let's say I subscribe to Pathfinder before Thanksgiving.

What exactly can I expect back issue/new issue wise? Will I begin receiving them with the next issue? The current issue? The last issue?

I'm asking because I ordered PF 1 through hieroglyphsbooks.com and if it is as good as expected, I'd like to get a subscription. But I want to know if I'll start with issue 3, or issue 2 or whatever so that I can fill in my back issues properly.

Liberty's Edge

I subscribed only a few days ago - as a result, PF 3 is shipping to me, and its PDF is now available for me to download. I had to order PF 1 and 2 individually.

I'm guessing that if you select the subscription item in the shopping list, the pictured issue is what you get.

Sounds reasonable. So the longer I wait, the more back issues I'll have to pick up at non-subscription rates.

Liberty's Edge

Yes, BUT... you could order them from Amazon.com at a reduced rate. Order two, and shipping is free ($25 order). I subscribed because I wanted the PDFs.

when you first subscribe, you can choose to start with the current issue, or the next issue.

The Captain* has the right of it again!

To further refine this answer, the "current issue" is going the volume that we most recently shipped to subscribers. This will be the volume displayed on the subscription.

The "next issue" will, obviously, be the next volume we will be shipping.

When you put the subscription into your shopping cart adn hit the "View Cart" button, you will be able to make your choice (current or next) on the Shopping Cart screen. The current issue will be selected by default.

We should be shipping Pathfinder Volume 4 sometime around the end of November (late next week) or the first week of December (the week after next). Once Pathfinder #4 ships, Pathfinders #1-3 will only be available for the non-subscription price.

Thanks,
cos
