I am going to run Burnt Offerings on a PbP site and have one player submitting a Hellknight for play.
Is there going to be more expanded upon this group? Their name, and a few things wrote about them, makes me wonder if they are good guys (it states at one point that there are Paladins- so I assume they are LG) but there is much discussion here at the home front...
Can some one clarify this for me?

Here is a thread on the subject. They aren't really a group of paladins; Lawful Neutral and Lawful Evil characters are more prevalent. It is conceivable to bend things a bit to make a Lawful Good character of the order; such as a paladin or knight (PHB 2) that favors law over good. It's likely a Lawful Good Hellknight would be viewed as a heretic by everyone else in the order, which provides a good reason that they aren't serving with their comrades at Citadel Vraid.

I'm planning on showcasing one member of the hellknight's in my party's trip to Magnimar. The organization itself will be Lawful Neutral with evil overtones. Yes, they engage in slavery and some tactics that are just downright not nice to think about, but it's to uphold the law. Law, and the maintaining thereof, should be the overarching point for the organization. So while yes, you could indeed be a Lawful Good hellknight, you can be sure he or she would be chided for "not having the stomach" to do some of the dirtier work the organization does.

Check the d20 SRD under Variant Classes for a LE "Paladin of Tyranny."

A little something on GiantITP. I think that a few more blessings gained per level might be nice, but beyond that, its a nice little coincidence
Hellknights would probably be a diverse conglomeration of various individuals with various classes, from Crusaders to Hexblades to Paladins of all sorts. What they have in common is a irritating, stick-up-the-arse obsession with law and order, and very few scruples about enforcing the aforementioned law and order.
I threw a LN hellknight named Sir Ulrich of Korvosa into sandpoint. he's shaping up to be the nemesis of my CN chelaxian duskblade, and after a cockblock when ulrich was chatting up the pretty half-elf lady who runs the tailor's shop (the standard "hows that clap treating you, man" line), the two are set up to duel after the party gets back from Thistletop (Ulrich has already filed the necessary paperwork, and they're going to meet in cracktooth's for a quick drink beforehand.
Ulrich is in sandpoint trying to track down Redshiv (the guy the PCs find at the bottom of the well in #2), and thinks that someone in town knows something. At the moment, he's an uptight but polite guy in intimidating armor who deals very poorly with insults, but after they see him using excessive force on Jargie...
