In The Skinsaw Murders, it's mentioned that "when Xanesha learned about the golem from Ironbriar, she had him bring it before her and added quickly it to her collection of charmed minions."
While it's true that the golem is susceptible to mind-affecting effects (due to his open mind ability), he's still got Magic Immunity. How, exactly, did Xanesha Charm him?

My assumption would be that Open Mind overrides the standard golem magic immunity - otherwise, it isn't a limitation anymore, since it's hard to find SR: No charm effects.

Yeah; as detailed under its Open Mind special ability, the Scarecrow is not immune to mind-affecting attacks. Probably should have repeated that line in it's Immune to Magic special ability, but there it is.

Mike . . . . for posting that . . . you are a God ... (Well, technically, you are a god anyway, but posting that reinforces it.)

Uhm... I know that development of... other force-feedback controllers was going on. But this is beyond weird.
"The goal of this project was to research and create objects that challenge the traditional notions and orientation of video game play."
It will challenge orientations all right. Gaming's still mostly guys, and if it's going to get all touchy-feely now.... I know that I'll not only completely stop going to LAN parties now, I'll lock the door before I start playing any games, in case someone wants to do some friendly fire or something.
And I can totally see it now: As soon as they use that stuff for single player games, there's going to be awkward situations. "It's not like it looks. I was just playing that game here on the Wii"

No, I really think it's a bad Idea! I mean, who doesn't know somebody who has destroyed computer mice, keyboards, or controllers in a fit of rage? If you think the stuff on wiihaveaproblem.com, with free-floating wii remotes crashing into TVs, windows, and people were bad, wait till the first reports of injuries with that hardware get in.

Y'know, with the right video game, that could be fun... Where do I buy this fabled and wondrous pair of controllers?
(boy, am I going to get in trouble for that one...)
/d
P.S. Sorry for the threadjack.

o.OYeah. Just too weird.
If you need to hook the boobies up to the TV before you can have any fun with them....
I'm sorry, you're beyond help.
I actually think it's made by women. Maybe that way their boyfriends/husbands will notice them again when they have touch them to play those games? Sell them in a bundle with WoW and they'll go like hot cakes. ;-)
