I think it was mentioned that the Open Call submissions were being re-visited for new monster entries for Pathfinder. I was curious whether or not this was still the case. Have people been contacted to submit their monsters? Will they be anytime soon?
Sorry if this was covered somewhere else but I couldn't find anything recent. Also sorry if this sounds like a complaint and I have no intention of making anyone rush for this

Shouldn't we have a magic D8 by now? I mean why do we continue to use a child's toy when we have more sophisticated tools at our disposal? Why do we continue to create new plush Cthulus when we do not have a magic d8 yet?

Inside your typical "magic 8-ball is a d20. Ten of the replies are positive, five are negative, and five are non-committal, with one of the non-committals being pretty gloomy.
Some years back, there was a miniature key-chain 8-ball, which had a d8 inside.
(Several years ago, I was GMing the AMBER diceless RPG, and I used a Magic 8-ball to adjudicate how well characters would do when they decided to jump on the Pattern and use it as cheap interdimensional transport.)
