Quick shipping question

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Issue # 1 of pathfinder took 3.5 weeks to get to me for some reason, despite being in Chicago IL...was that a fluke, or the norm? It's only been 9 days thus far, but I'd like to know what other's experiences have been in terms of time between getting the PDF access, and the paper copy...

What shipping method did you choose? If you go with UPS Ground, you can get it in 5 business days for a bit more than you'd pay for standard shipping, plus you get a tracking number, so you can see where it is on thier website. Well worth it, IMO.

I've got USPS Priority, and I got mine middle of last week IIRC.

Shipping times for Pathfinder so far have been more fluke than what we hope to achieve with future volumes. We're still working out the process. Perhaps by the next one we will be firing on all cylinders....

When Gary's talking about "shipping times," he means the delay between the time we tell you it's about to ship and the time it actually leaves our office. While many packages were picked up within 24 hours of you getting the confirmation e-mail, and most were picked up within 48 hours, because of the time that it takes to actually pack and label the packages, and because of the weekend and postal holiday in the middle of our subscription run, some people who were sent an e-mail on Thursday and most of the people who were sent an e-mail on Friday didn't actually get their package picked up until Tuesday.

Still, the process was a lot faster for volume 2 than volume 1, and we expect volume 3 will be better still.

Well then I look forward to getting # 2!

changed my shipping to priority & it took only 7(also included Columbus Day Observed) days to get to me, once I got the email saying, "we're charging your card, here is your pdf, have fun with Pathfinder ##, etc etc".

big change from using the 10 day or whatever that option is. I'll pay the extra just not have to wait.

Being in eastern OR with Paizo to the NW of me, is one reason why I changed to priority (just couldn't see why a couple of books took that long to get here using the old ship method--dang you USPS!!!! ha ha)

So if we got the email on Friday (10/5) then we shouldn't really start getting worried until this Friday (10/19) [10 days after the actual shipping day of Tuesday (10/9)]. Ok, I was starting to get a little nervous since today was 10 days since I had gotten the email and still there was no sign. Good to know that a few more days are to be expected.

When using UPS Ground, I usually get packages from Paizo in one business day here in Bend. :)

Yeah, I have the cheapie shipping set for # 2 as well, might need to change it...got the PDF on the 4th, 11 days later and no issue...although with columbus day that's only 6 business days...

Not mad at you guys paizo, just THAT excited to get # 2...although I couldn't wait, and read the whole pdf at work :P

I should also note that subscribers who have chosen UPS shipping are generally processed first, so those were among the very first packages to be picked up by the shipper.

nice to hear from Bend, Ontario here (ughhh, ha ha)

you know my first ever order from Paizo was UPS & it got here pretty quick, 2 days I think, might have a weekend in there. I might have to try UPS method for Pathfinder #3 next month, just to test the shipping

like I said $$$ was worth the change, as not to wait so long for quality products

I noticed it took much longer to get my combined Pathfinder/GameMastery order this month then it did to get regular stuff I've ordered, using the same shipping. I'm not complaining, just saying.

Hello? 10/23 and no issue :(
