"The Black Bard's" version of The Wreck

Hey "The Black Bard," whatever happened to your version of The Wreck?
Did you ever finish it?
Just wondering.

I did indeed finish it, function at 95% completion. The last 5% would have been gluing string to the sides of walkways, purely cosmetic, but I'm a bit anal-retentive about that. Might still get it done.

Currently looking for a box to fit the monster in for shipping. I'll try and get it set up one last time and take a picture for posting.

It was awesome to use in play. Especially since the way I built the buildings, they could come off the "ground" for ease of storage. Several time in play, due to PC actions, they did come off the ground, because they weren't there anymore.

The other thing I need to do is put in Arc of Fire markers for the Ballista operators on the upper levels. The fact they can shoot into some of the other combats on ground level makes an interesting division of resources problem.

So what's up?

You talked this thing up forever.

I'd be interested as well since I am currently running the City of Broken Idols. I probably have three sessions before we'll complete that section and be moving on to Scuttlecove! I really haven't even tried to decipher that map yet, I am sort of dreading it really. Hopefully between the pictures and the google sketch up file I have I'll be able to make it come alive for my group.

Lo Matey!

Could we get some photos of this wonderful contraption of yours?

A photo or three of this model could serve better than a dozen maps, methinks.

Thread resurrection - did you ever take those pictures, BB?

Now that I have a new digital camera that isn't made of chocolate covered fail, and a baby on the way that mandates the rearranging of storage, I may just get that monster out and take a few snaps. No promises, but at least you reminded me!

Congratulations on your baby, Mr. Bard - now you just need to get your priorities straight. ;-)

That's right. Just remember: They're never too young to learn to play D&D! HA!
