Could you advise if Eando Kline, the Pathfinder assigned to Magnimar will be making an appearance in RotRL? I was wondering since I've been thinking about having a little side trek initiated by him or someone affiliated with him to introduce the PCs to the Pathfinders.
He won't be. Eando Kline's story will be told over the course of the Pathfinder Journals to come, but he himself won't be appearing in any of the adventure paths any time soon (if ever). His actions and discoveries WILL have an affect on future adventure paths, though...

Speaking of Pathfinder Society, I think it is cool how volume 1 of the Pathfinder Chronicles is pretty widespread, volume 2 probably less so, and volume 3 is "almost unknown to the populace at large."
I love the idea of at least one of the PCs becoming a Pathfinder, and then the PCs seek the advice of a sage. The sage has his own respectable library--including volumes 1 and 2 of the Pathfinder Chronicles. He then smugly lets them know that he is aware that there were actually three volumes! (And could he work out a deal to take a peek at the third and "final" volume?) Imagine his surprise if they told him that there are actually about 56! Or imagine how funny it would be to the PCs to know just how much this sage didn't know!

I'm doing something similar for my game. One of my players will be running a Bard (who will eventually multiclass over to a Cleric of Shelyn). She wants to have arrived in Sandpoint a few years ago by way of a "big city" so I'm going with Magnimar. Secondly, with her character's built-in interest in exploration, storytelling, and ancient knowledge...it's kind of a no-brainer to hook her up with the Pathfinder Society.
So, I'll likely have Eando Kline sponsor her on an assignment to explore Varisia. I'm also toying with the idea of giving her a distant relative who already lives in Sandpoint, possibly someone like the town's sage who already has a few theories on what the realm of the Runelords was once like.

Now this is an idea I like. This is where the Forgotten Realms went wrong. Elminster started off as an all knowing Sage to advise DMs (and Players to some extent) of all things Realms. Providing insight and useful information to make the Realms seem more a live. Ed never intended for Elminster to become what he is.
Keep the uber character out of the material, give them a voice, a pen, but no sword to slay with.

I was surprised there wasn't a Pathfinder prestige class in Issue 1. I assume there will be some world specific prestige classes in future installments?
Very few level 1 characters enter into PrCs =p
Anywho, at least now I have the creative license to add him where I want. I have a player running a bard right now who is already a pathfinder.
