I'm about to run There be monsters and would like to know if anyone knows were i can get figures of Terror Bird. So far I have Reaper Miniature and Copplestone Casting but that is only 2 figures. I'm at the part where the pcs encounter 6 terror birds chasing the Diplodocus. Any help would be appreciated.

Good suggestion although it would look somewhat out of place with the other two legged birds :).
What do you guys use to represent a terror bird.
I wish I had access to these, but if you've got a little money to blow on an awesome mini for this: http://www.reapermini.com/FigureFinder#detail/03092

I have one of the reaper figs. It's almost painted too, which is good because I will need it in about 2 weeks.
It's great, and I'd LOVE to have 4 or 5 of them, but for a single encounter it's just not worth it. If they were a recurring creature over the course of several adventures, I'd be able to justify the time and money of buying and painting several. But as it is, I've got the one, and I'll use proxies with the same base size for the rest.

Part of the fun of DND is collecting the figures and painting it as well. My players always enjoy seeing what new figures will apear in their game so I dont mind spending a bit of time buying and painting them.

Yeah I have that as well as

(look for Giant flightless bird). They also have a lot of other dinosaur figures.
I just want to avoid having multiple copies of them.
Hah with them you even get the eggs to guard. However, I think it would be much more amusing to use these and or these (and you even get several in one pack). But then you would have to call them 'much more amusing' birds instead of 'terror' birds....O:)

While I agree, both my time and money are limited. Especially my time. I've still got to paint up that nasty evil death knight Vanthus too, he's been primed on my table with nary a drop of paint on him since February.
