Letter Designations

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

(from the blog, for those of you who haven't read it)

Thanks for clearing that up, I was under the impression they were grouped by letter designation, and sure enough if D2 had arrived, I'd be saying, "Whateth the crapeth?"

Are there any of them that are joined in a loose series? By locale, level progression, etc?

So far, the only loose series is D0-->D1-->E1. They all take place near Falcon's Hollow.

You rock, Mike. :)

When do we get our first "C" adventure? What's it about? Who's writing? What can you tell us about it? Choco-chip? Ooh ooh, tell us tell us!

Paizo adventures are a "sometimes food."

The rough details have already been disclosed. Basically, the PCs must save a town from a large blue mutant bugbear with several levels in bard. The Monster goes around eating people - shouting how much he loves cookies, num num num, and sings an enchanting song that has the entire town enspelled.

Will the PCs be able to save the town before the Monster devours everyone? An adventure for characters level 4-6.

The Monster's siren song:

"Now what starts with the letter C?"
"Cookie starts with C!"
"Let's think of other things that start with C"
"Oh, who cares about the other things?"
"C is for cookie, that's good enough for me!"

You know what else "C" stands for? Children. Yup. He eats children like cookies.

Sutter reminded me that I should use that joke, as I have in the past. I have to give him a, well, cookie for that one. :)

Ha! You beat me to it, Eyebite. You get a cookie.

There's this Colossal blue monster, see, and he's terrorizing Korvoso's world-famous cookie-making cottage industry

Which is, let me guess, run by gnomes?

No. ;D I wouldn't want to try to write an entire series of adventures. *shudder*

You know, I wouldn't mind seeing a series singled out with an "M" for Mature. Unfortunately, such a thing tends to be highly subjective (unless you went whole hog and had "The Wild West Gals of Pathfinder and the Lavender Dwarves who loved them, until they were gutted on sharpened sporks" I suppose).
