I think "The Fall of Greymalkin Academy" (Dungeon # 140) could make for a cool side quest as part of the Shackled City Adventure Path. I would relocate the events to Bluecrater Academy, which I have cast as a wizardry school rather than a university. I'd probably fit it between Chapters 5 and 6 of the Shackled City HC.
Does Bluecrater play an important role in the latter half of the adventure path? I'm still running Flood Season at the moment so I haven't explored the final chapters in detail yet.
Thanks!

I'm intending to do the same thing. To answer you question: no, the academy is not officially used in the campaign. Personally, I have incorporated it quite extensively in my campaign. One of the PCs is a graduate alumni and has many ties through the town who attended there.

Cool, thanks for the heads up!
One of my PCs is an incredibly arrogant Elf Wizard. As his NPC foil, I've included an equally cocky (but much more personable) half-elf star pupil from Bluecrater Academy. This guy dates the desk clerk at the Inn the PC stays at, corrects the PC on the best way to scribe a scroll, and seems blissfully ignorant of the PC's growing disdain. I fully intend to swap out Tomas from "Graymalkin" for our Half-Elf friend, it should be fun.

Too funny. The PC wizard alumni from the academy in my campaign is also an incredibly arrogant elf wizard.

Hmm... maybe his half-elf nemesis will tell him about Bluecrater's research into alternate dimensions, and how in one such dimension the Elf is their prize pupil ;)
