I've also added a note to the My Subscriptions page and the Transition page.

It has been whispered among various secret operatives (ok, Lisa Stevens said it) that back issues will be available mid July. Now, I don't want to be a pain, but ... cough ... Monday is July 16, which would count as more or less the ... cough . ... middle of the month ... so, um ...
Any chance we can get an actual date yet when these will become available?
Pretty please? What if I sent you a brand new shiny quarter?

There is a huge bug in our code I'm dealing with here, and if I can slay the dastardly beast, then Wednesday's the day.
If I can't slay the beast by then, well... You'll be able to select back issues once I've done the slaying.
And I can't (WON'T) say publicly when I think that date is. Things come up. They always do. When I screw up, it inevitably involves hundreds (or thousands) of people and their money. So I'm really trying not to screw up on this.
But, umm, yeah. Mid next week is the plan.

Knowing that you are working on the bug for the Dungeon subscription,I just want to make sure I got the math right.
Dragon 7 over = 3 Pathefinder
Dungeon 8 over = 3 Pathfinder?
It's not a simple calculation—it factors in shipping costs, how much you paid for your subscriptions, and more—so let's leave the confirmation to the computer on that. You'll have your answer long before it becomes really important!

It's improved from yesterday. Now it does calculate the number of Dungeon issues past the end correctly.
However, it still doesn't add those issues to the ongoing Pathfinder subscription. I tried switching my transition choice to refund, then back to Pathfinder, but that didn't help.
It is supposed to be a 1:1 ratio of issues of Dragon/Dungeon to Pathfinder, isn't it?
EDIT: Err, no, I guess it isn't. I have a total of three issues left after the end of publication, 1 Dragon & 2 Dungeon, and it gives me only one issue of Pathfinder. But reading the page carefully, that seems to be the intent.

Thanks for fixing the bug. There is just one problem. My transition page says I get 5 free pathfinder but on my subscription page it says remaining coverted volumes 3, my ongoing subscription starts with issue #4.
Shouldn't my ongoing subscription start at #6?Thanks for any help you can give.
That's because you made your selection during the period of time the bug was in effect. The Pathfinder subscription that got created was only taking into account your Dragon issues and ignored your Dungeon subscription.
It's easy to fix, just select some other option, click the "Save Changes" button, then re-select Pathfinder and click "Save Changes" again. I've gone ahead and done this for you.

Just checking in (and hoping not to be too much of a pain in the process :)
Is today still THE day or has it been moved back? I have my back issue wish list sitting here in front of me on my desk at work as I anxiously watch my in-box.
The fact that I am doing that instead of acually working... well, that's another topic entirely ...

I hate to be a "cog in the wheel", but is there a way to split my remaining subscription credit among the given choices? I would love to apply part of my credit to getting a few back Dragon/ Dungeon backorders and the other half to getting a few copies of Pathfinder.
Sorry—the complexity of the code (and the unpleasant interface that would be needed) necessitate that you make exactly one choice.

Well, you just knew I'd ask sooner or later ...
It's Tuesday - officially 'Early next week' (well, ok, officially might be a stretch ... but I'm trying to coax some info here). Is Early next week still the current plan? If so, do we have a more specific day?
Pretty please?
Thanks!

In the next day or so, most likely. Gary's all done, but Jeff still needs to check a couple of issue inventories.
Thanks Vic!
One follow up ... I think this was asked before, but I couldn't find it ...
Once the back issues are ready to be selected and 'ordered' should we wait for an e-mail or will we see something here on these boards as well? For instance, will the 'order form' suddenly just appear on our Transition section here on your site?
Just trying to make sure I have a good handle on how this will actually go down, so to speak.
Thanks again!

After you select the shipping address, you'll see a "thanks for your order" page, listing all the issues you selected, with a grand total of zero dollars including shipping and handling. (After I fix that bug this morning. :-)
The order will appear in your order history, and you'll get a confirmation email sent immediately. If you've selected any PDF back issues, they'll be available on your downloads page.
You'll get another email when your issues are about to ship from our warehouse.

We will in fact be sending an email. Probably after lunch today.
Cool ... of course, that means those of us on the East Coast, who mainly check their e-mail at work might be gone for the day by the time the e-mail is sent ...
Guess I'll be going home and staring at my home computer screen this evening ...
The things we do for our Dragon magazines! :)

Well, if you are home staring at the computer screen, I hope you see this thread.

Not only did I see it ... I picked em!
Now ... I just have to wait ... and wait .... and wait ....
