So I got on stage and had to try and lift two large granite balls out of a box filled with fine (and thus dusty) sand, just by holding on to them on the top.
I did it and the presenter seemed very impressed (especially after he told me to wave them around a bit and under one of my legs). He even collected all the money people had been throwing up on stage and gave them to me. :-)
Did you get picked out because of your size, and you looked like you could lift them?

We hardly felt it here. Everything is cool. Been quite the year in China: blizzard wipes out a few towns, train crash, epidemic diseases, Tibetans, earthquakes, Olympics....

This is actually what we looked like after a long plane ride when the restuarant wasn't quite ready to seat us.

He means that he thinks that anyone complimenting a picture, but not posting a picture, is actually a board alias (or even a whole 'nother account) of the person that they paid the compliment to. (i.e. people are complimenting themselves to make themselves look good).
I'm sure that's right for a few of them, but I bet there's also people who just don't want to put their picture on a message board. Hell, a lot of people don't want any pictures of them anywhere on the internet at all.
