BORED!!!!

Off-Topic Discussions

Man this is boring. GitP's comics are taking way too long(www.giantitp.com)!!! Nobody has any new, good threads! My bro isn't here to play D&D, and I can't find a good site to go onto!
Any suggestions?

Go outside and play.

make a character.

see if you can roll three twenties in a row.

email your worst enemy then let your finger hover on send.

do a search for the first word your finger rests on in the DMG.

wear woman's clothes and take pictures.

do a painting with your fingertips.

roll 1d6 to choose which of the above to do.

I'm in yr thread wasting yr time

You'll regret that. Look in the Off-topic part. Look at the thread about Fake Healer's misspellings.

Prepare to be humiliated, as I do the same thing to you.
This whole thread is gonna be deleted for that.

Seriously, with a hobby like D&D, how could you possibly be bored. Even if there is nobody around at the moment, there are books to read, adventures to write, rules to tweak, worlds to create. Also, as mentioned earlier, it is summer. Go outside.

Make a new world and draw it up, right now i have to draw the map for the mansion for a resident evil campaign, (don't know how long it will take) and if that won't do, then make a epic level character. That is always fun.
Enjoy Summer it goes by too fast.

y didd u tll the peeple that my are spell badt? now tem are all larf at me and cll me bad spelly guy., i are umhappi. yu cud halv tolt them thap i r kitti!

Roll 1 on diplomacy much?

I expect trolls in dank caverns on the moors by the mere of dead men. Not on these forums. Please understand that I am not angry at you. I find it a little sad however, that you are now the only person on these forums to have anything bad to say about me. You seem to have missed the pop-culture reference in my post. If you want to talk to me about some or other percieved slight that I have committed against you, I am all ears. Please keep it civil and rational.

Regards Taliesin Hoyle.

Now, if you are still bored, download the applet called stumbleupon and surf the net at random. It is an admirable time sink.

Read a book.

It takes much more than your puny koboldic antics to humiliate someone of my magnisitudal phalangerismic classificerists.

Here is my suggestion for being bored...
Make 5 NPCs. Add something odd to each. Add the finished products to Lilith's NPC STAT BANK.
It would be productive, fun and the users of Liliths DMTools page would appreciate the contributions.

Carry on, Kobold Ass.!
(that is the way you abbreviate that, right?;p)

There is always the library or second-hand bookstores. Books are like beer: you can't put a price on bound or bottled happiness.

Beer GOOD! Maybe if you're really bored, you could work on opening a bookstore/bar combo business. I'd go there. Bookstore/coffee houses are all played out. It's time for a change!

When I was in undergrad there was a laundry mat called Buds & Suds. You could do your laundry and drink! Tell me that’s not a college town! I don’t think it’s still open, but I think a beer and book store may work. Books & Brews? Books & Beer? Maybe, Read & Pee? Needs work…

When I was at OSU, we had a laundro-bar place like that, too. It was called Dirty Dungarees. Loved it 'cause it had pool tables, too. It, of course, is closed. Probably ahead of its time.

May i suggest that if Kobold Assassins page is to be believed he might be a little young to open a bar?

Never too young to be a business owner - he just couldn't serve the adult beveages...Besides, just planning the business as a future investment might alleviate his boredom.

BTW, what is the legal drinking age on Krynn?

Good point. No idea what the legal drinking age is on Krynn. Perhaps he is old enough.

Elcian

Edit *if anyone should know about Krynn Fizzban should surely*

LOL Being the avatar of the God of Light I would not condone underage drinking, but Krynn is different considering no fluoridated water. I would say as soon as you can order some ale go for it (don’t forget the spiced potatoes too!!!) I would just recommend staying away from the dwarven spirits, look what it did to Caramon.

I like beer! It makes me a jolly good fellow!

Can't recommend the firewater though. Too many mornings waking up with a cobwebbed brain, trying to piece together the night before and after I did, wish the hell I hadn't.

Beer and Books? How much reading would be done in that kind of a place? How many beerstains on the books? Imagine the noise level steadily rising and trying to read when everybody got a few in. Then people who were concentrating on reading would shush some drunken loudmouth and books would be thrown. Then we have Roadhouse. Geez, now that I think about it; that sounds kinda fun.

Great in theory but not realistic. Still, it might get the bookmice loosened up and start to socialize. Have to be a cutoff point after 2 drinks. Maybe a bookstore with an adjoining bar?

I can see the "emotional drunks" now, "She can't kill off Hary" hic. "Hees my faborite," thunk!

Fer crishake, how can I carry drunk when I'm booksh!

Scarab Sages

I'm not as drunk as you think I am.

Home me the way to go show,
I'm bed and I wanna go to tired.
Had another hour about a drink ago
and it head right to my went.

I wish I could drink like a lady.
I can take one or two at the most.
Three puts me under the table.
Four puts me under the host.

Thx. Really, I was hoping for some D&D inspiration for a world, spell, race, etc.

There is a contagious meme doing the rounds with variants of the old "I'm in ur base killin ur doods!" line from starcraft tournaments. The "I'm in ur thread wasting ur time" was a parody of this meme.

I then deliberately wrote with terrible spelling to defuse your attack on me with humour.

Are you willing to apologise to Fake Healer and I?

Teter's probably wishing he locked this thread when he had the chance.
I'd like to know Kobold Assassin's first post (my first account, whose password and email I long ago lost), but I have a rough idea...

Man, I was annoying back then. I didn't improve much around the end of that account's days, either...

That was a thread I started called 'BORED!!!'.

The case could be made, in fact, that I hadn't improved until this year. Some of my posts were pretty obnoxious.
There are also some two dozen people who say I'm still not mature. I ignore them.

Yeah. Back then. {rolls eyes}

You could run a solo adventure for yourself. Just don't tell your friends you're doing it.

I really didn't mean to bump this thread. I meant to post it here. Figures I didn't notice it until now.

So can I just Smurf it then??
