Hello all and welcome newcomer Rom. While Shamgar was running us through the Red Hand of Doom last night, he and I discussed a little of his intentions for our PbP. He gave me NO spoilers, just talked about the setting and the general tone and I am very excited. I will let Shamgar fill you in because he is the DM and is, as such, all knowing, but I will say that the town/ city that we will be starting in for one thing is universally evil and, sorry Dreamweaver, hates elves.
Also, before Rom joined, I was thinking of changing from a tank to a melee/ caster mix cuz of our low magic party. Shamgar and I talked avbout this as well and thought that a nice fit would be a favored soul. I have since fleshed out the character a bit and am going to stick with it. He will be a Hellbred Favored Soul with mostly martial focus(the hellbred race is from Fiendish Codex II). Now with Rom as what I assume will be a cleric type, we should be fine with healing and with a monk, 2 cleric types, a scout, and an arcane caster, we should be fairly potent offensively. I will try to post a history later today or tomorrow. yikes...glad I went back and reread this thread...I was prepping a favored soul as well. I will review Complete Divine again and look for something else. If all else fails, I'll be a straight cleric.

Sorry to steal your PC idea. If you are strongly tied to it, I could switch to Paladin, which I considered as well. it is completely up to you. I had just thought from your initial post that you were going to be a straight cleric cuz of the undead slayer title. There I go assuming again. Really, whatever you want to do is fine by me. I do, however, need to have quite a strong divine streak for player concept.
Has everyone seen the background on the other thread Shamgar started called "Crimson Conquest Discussion"? Shamgar put a link to it in an avove post. i think thats where he wants all this conversation occuring from now on.

No problem my friend! I'm going to go with an old but true friend...the dwarf cleric! Isnor will be looking to become a Warpriest in the new future (should he live that long).
We are looking for one more PbP player who might want to jump in. We could use either a divine caster (probably a dwarven cleric or the like) or a melee combatant. If anyone is interested, please let me know. The game is to start today (though I could introduce your character in the next couple of days) and we are looking to post 2-3 times per day.
