How are Subscriptions Going?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

So how are subscriptions going to Pathfinder? I know you can't give exact numbers, but are they good, better than you thought, below what you expected... ?

We'll probably have to wait until the first copy comes out before anyone can speculate on how the sales are going. Since the announcement of Pathfinder was only days ago, the results cumulated up to now are only fragments of what the true sales will be.

Speaking only by experience, of course (having run a small buisness for a time)...

Probably about 100 so far. Mostly just forum trolls like us.

Seems that way. More (Pathfinder Charter Subscriber) appearing daily though :)

Actually, we have been floored by the very positive response so far! Quite a few people have transferred credit over and a very strong number have become Charter Subscribers. The numbers keep growing every day. To say we are pleased would be an understatement. Thanks for everyone for your faith in us. Also thanks to everyone on the boards who jumped in and helped to sell Pathfinder to somebody on the fence. Sometimes it feels like we have a thousand customer service reps! :)

Interesting...I am curious regarding the ratio of subscribers to 'forum trolls.'

You are welcome, Lisa, and yes you do have people trying to showcase the goodness of Paizo and Pathfinder all around. The reason? Because people who are hard working, passionate about what they do and listening to their customers produce good things. Paizo fills the bill for many of us around here, myself included.

What I'm trying to say is: my support is a form of thanks for all your hard work, quality products and excellent customer service, guys, and I guess many people feel like I do.

Feels good to support Paizo!

It's called "good karma". ;)
