With Gamemastery products scattered all over Amazon, I was wondering why I couldn't find any on Books-A-Million.
It's not because of any great loyalty to BAM, but because that's the online bookstore attached to the Navy Exchange internet shopping mall, that's the only place I and other sailors can buy books from when we're deployed or overseas.
I know this topic came up before, but with Paizo's new direction (books over magazines), I thought it was worth bringing up again and seeing what Paizo's marketing department could do to get their products listed at BAMM.com
Thanks for listening.

I'll mention it to our circulation manager. I know they carried Dragon and Dungeon in the past—we'll see what we can do to get them to pick up some of our books.

To be honest, I don't think they've carried Dungeon on their web site.
You can't imagine the buckets of Paizo stuff I would buy if I could do it through the Navy Exchange system via Books-a-Million.

You'll have to pardon my ignorance of the military's sales channels, but do you have access to the same PX system that the Army does? I know we do pretty well with both Dragon and Dungeon on base, and they've also started to pick up some of the GameMastery line lately.
I can't speak of how the actual stores get their merchandise, but both service exchange websites share a "mall" system that links to other, select commercial sites that can be bought from through the Exchange system.
The purpose, I suppose, is that ships at sea and deployed soldiers have internet access limited to pre-approved, military websites, so being able to get to the Books-a-Million site, fer instance, means they can shop there while at sea.
Plus we get to take advantage of military discounts and the Exchange program's Star credit line. (hehee)
When it came up before, I understood that it would be too difficult to add this website to the Exchange's mall. The simplest solution was talking BAM into carrying all your stuff on their site and letting us buy through them.
Thanks for looking into it (again).

I know BAM carries both Dungeon and Dragon in their physical stores because it's currently the only bookstore in my town (Port Charlotte, FL). I usually don't see them both at the same time. I guess they usually wait to sell out or send back one before getting the other.
I don't know why they wouldn't carry them on the website.

Sales Manager Phil FTW!
I know this guy at BAM, I'll put in a call next week, see what I cna work out for future books. Hell, maybe they'd like some other GameMastery stuff while they're at it!
Go Phil!
But make sure you specify their website as well as their stores, 'cause as we all know now, those are two differently stocked shops.
