So, now that I've had a few days to chew on this, let it settle in, and get over the loss of Dungeon (and the industry classic Dragon, though I never read it very often), I WANT MY PATHFINDER #1 NOW!
Seriously. I don't want to wait. I want to get started on this adventure path now. The artwork, the adventures, the stories and articles, and especially the goblins all sound awesome, and now I'm irritated that I have to wait SO LONG for the first book to arrive.
I don't suppose there's any chance of maybe posting the PDF for that volume early, like say once you have it all laid out and ready to send to the printer. As a nice little thank you gift for us charter subscribers maybe?

We'll discuss that, but one problem is that you don't get charged for a volume until the print copy ships, so scammers could take advantage of the PDF without actually paying for it.
I suspect we'll be posting the free PDF of the Player's Guide early, though.

How about charging us when you put up the PDF, instead of when you ship the hardcopy? I certainly don't mind, because living in this remote corner of the world, I'm resigned to receiving the books a month or more after you ship them, but the sooner I can get the PDF, the less upset I'll be about the shipping delay.
And while I'm here, let me say that this is the first time I'm ordering anything sight unseen. But I just have to have some way to satisfy my AP craving beyond Shackled City. I've been moping over not having an AoW hardcover, but now I'm mollified.
