I'm just about finished reading Johnathan Stroud's "Bartimaeus Trilogy" and found myself looking up Genies in the Monter Manual (the books are about Wizards and Genies). I had forgotten that D&D v3 & 3.5 have left out the Dao and the Marid. Is anyone aware of an official D&D v3.5 publication that gives stats for these lost Genies?

The 3e stats for the Dao and the Marid are featured in the Manual of the Planes. There is also another type of genie called a Qorrashi in Frostburn.
well, I would just check the book o grudges; dem Marids are bad, bad juju. I am hopin they all got killed off. We need a plan to pull the drain plug on that whole water plane and drain it down into the Abyys where it belongs. Manual of Planes be your best bet for most Jinn though. You could pop over to crystalkeep.com an check there listing for monsters by subtype and they will give you the book to look at; like my folk; check fire subtype and you can find Efreets or you could look at MotP p173 and 3.5up P28+ fer then nasty Genie, Marid; outsider; water,chaos, large, etc.
