Why do so many posters think that a title full of capped letters, shorthand type and other such annoyances make their threads more appealing?!?!!!?!?!??!!??!!?!??!?!?!?!!?!?
And why is it that gamers run such a high risk of being socially impaired? I've been trying to start a game up over the past week in NYC, which you'd think would provide an overabundance of gamers, right? Wrong! The few that I've found all lack seemingly basic communication skills.
For example, someone responded reponded to one of my online ads. Let's call him Joe. I met Joe in person last weekend; Joe seems like a cool solid gamer. But, Joe writes emails as if typing causes Joe intense physical pain. "So how's this weekend looking for you, Joe? I'd like to get everyone together and make some characters." "This weekend doesn't work for me." I would think that Joe is just brushing me off, but that's the way all his emails were even before I met him.
And what's with all these blasted smurfs?
ARGH!!!

Anyways....gamers today seem weirdos who don't shower and are unable to start a conversation. Today, our "little" group of 15 are starting a fight against a red dragon(ancient one and we are all lvl 5)
I tried talking to them for some strategy but no one can really talk....Well, I guess the language of the dice speaks for itself?!?
And yeah, we're toasted.
