I dont know what kinda Big Brother conspiracy is going on, but I hear the are putting chips in prisoners; were gonna have to get chips on our drivers liscenses; there are cameras now installed am a huge number of intersections in Albuquerque, and more to just look around town at people, they already have x-ray backscatter devices to look at you nude while your fully clothed and are gonna install them first in the airports and who knows where else next. Things like privacy, ownership, and personal rights are out the window; heck two years ago our city bulldozed down someones house because they got tired of telling him his weeds were to high. Things are just wacked out of control; guns keep gettting banned so only the bad guys have them and the murder rate keeps increasing in those areas; just makes no sense. Did you know that McDonalds owns almost all the beef in this country and no independant farmer has any clue what beef prices are to get a fair trade? Super farms are taking over so all the food we eat is in the hands of a very few people. How well do you think you could get along with a few well scheduled power outages.
All I am saying in this post is I have been noticing some trends that have me a bit nervous. A sorta calling it New World Order; Ever thought about how hard it would be for the government to say your a terrorist regardless if you are or are not? just saying you are and putting you on a list and you then seem to have no civil rights; and the IRS talk about outside the realm of law; they never even heard of civil rights, though they seem to be presenting a more pleasant face the last few years.
All this going on for real and is verifiable; and ol heathy buys the lone gunman theory and thinks we went to the moon :) sorry to pick. Why are we really in Iraq, why are we not in Korea? interesting, but not big on my list. Same with was Patton murdered intentionally in a car accident the moment he got back from Europe to LA.; hmm.
Every religion could be looked at like a big consiracy; I mean really, we can't really prove anything without leaving some doubt; might be good to have some answers in this department that seems ripe for the need for answers.

Every single "question" about the moon landing has been answered. (Try this link for starters, but there are more if you look.)
But the big problem is that there have been a lot of scientific work performed by professionals based on either (a) material brought back from the moon or (b) instruments left on the moon. For example the actual distance between the Earth and Moon is measured because some of the Apollo missions left laser reflectors on the moon. In order for this thing to have been faked, then there would have to have been thousands or people either duped to such a high degree that their very livelihood is a lie, or that the breadth of the conspiracy is so large that more people are in on it than not. (And you know the old saying: "two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.")
I work in the space business (controlling satellites in orbit) and the technology to take man to the moon is not as advanced as one would think. The fact is, this was probably the biggest single achievement in the history of mankind, especially since it was conceived of and executed within a span of about 7 years. Compare that to the amount of time its taking to get the ISS up and working. And it kinda sucks to think that there are people out there who, for whatever reason, don't want to believe it.

Language is powerful and I hate how the word conspiracy has been twisted to have a more negative connotation. People conspire all the time. Agencies, especially covert agencies, are in the business of conspiring.
Coincidence is another word that is twisted in connotation.
The one that really burns me up is how marketing and advertisement agencies have stolen the "umph" from revolutionary. There's nothing revolutionary about Tide, even with its new formula.

Given the nature of some of the "conspiracies" identified with this lable, (Assassinations of JKF, RFK, MLK, Malcolm X, Moon landing, 9/11, et al) it would be presupposed that the "theory" part "without proof" is a given. If the powers that be are indeed behind these kinds of act they certainly would take care to hid evidence thereby preventing the "theorist" from getting the proof that would turn them into a "factist".

As one of the many many government workers that disposed of the evidence after 9/11, I can assure you, it was in fact a government conspiracy. I will most certainly be murdered as a result of this post, but I feel like the truth deserves to come out. I don't know about the other 10,000 government employees that participated in the cover up and kept secret, or all the legislators and administrators who put aside their partisan differences to cooperate in hiding the truth, but I for one, can no longer stay silent.
P.S. - The Earth is flat! Never believe anything to the contrary.

Here's why the moon landing was real, IMO.
We went to the moon to beat the U.S.S.R. there. It's the ultimate Cold War high ground. If we can get there, we can occupy it, throw moon rocks at whatever city we want to, and shoot down any and all incoming nuclear missiles; it takes a long time for a missile to get to the Moon. You can shoot down incoming nukes with ease; just fling a cloud of explosives and flack in their flight path. We beat them there, and if we faked it, they would've really gotten up there AND done everything and anything to refute our "lunar landing hoax." And they would've succeeded in the refutation, because all conspiracies that involve many people also involve bean spilling of ludicrous proportions.

Please check your stats, and cite a reference. I think you may have it backwards. Canada, for example, has gun control and vastly fewer gun murders per capita: "the homicide rate in the United States stood at 5.5 murders per 100,000 people in 2004; more than double that of Canada's last year" (Associated Press, 11/8/06).

I had much the same thought. If I were the Premier of the USSR at the time, be absolutely certain I'd've checked out that story 17 ways 'til Sunday, using all of my nation's (and satellites') resources to do so. Unless you think we were in cahoots with them to perpetrate that hoax... for what reason?

There's a lot easier and less messy (and less aggrivating to the U.K.'s people) ways to quiet someone than poisoning them with an alpha-particle emitter.

And the radiation you are talking about are the Van Allen radiation belts, which would be dangerous if the astronauts spent any amount of time there, but since they are on an upward trajectory toward the moon, they pretty much whiz right through them.

Again, nope. Shadow "irregularities" can be explained by sloping terrain (the moon ain't flat) and the fact that the lander itself was highly reflective and can cause secondary shadows from reflected sunlight.

Actually, we do know. A former boss of mine (as I stated above, I work in the space business) was part of ground control for the Apollo project. Now, if he was part of a big fake, then he conned my company and the Canadian Space Agency (Canadian version of NASA) into getting a 6-figure salary because he was part of a big hoax in the 60s.
There's a little thing called Occam's razor that says the simplest solution is the most likely. What's more likely? Really. Ask yourself that question. What's more likely. That there has been a huge snow job going on for the last 40 years involving thousands, if not millions of people? Or that it actually happened?
It honestly completely baffles me why people don't want to believe in the moon landing. Isn't life cooler knowing that we have been there?

Now, I think people went to Moon at some point. The question is, was it Armstrong et al in 1969 as that was indeed part of Cold War pissing match. Maybe they did it sometimes in 70's but just couldn't then celebrate "this time we REALLY went to Moon..."

They're aren't that many government personnel, either. And the training needed just to handle the stuff safely is quite intense, I think. Using polonium sends a SERIOUS message that you have maximally pissed off some very serious people.
