So far this year, I haven't receive any magazine since late december, early january. I was hoping there was no problem with my subscriptions at both magazine. The last one I receive were Dragon 351 and Dungeon 143. I haven't complain yet since I live in Canada and I always receive my issues after the locals stores. As I read this board I realize I'm not the only one with issues problems. I miss 3 issues last year, and I'm strating this new year of gaming with 2 issues missing so far.... maybe there is something wrong!
Thank you,
Luc

Luc,
I'm still missing Dragon 352 as well (even given the problems that Canada Post seems to have in delivering as far norht as Sault Ste. Marie). I'd say though that Dungeon 144 still won't reach us Canadians for another week or two yet.
My experience hasn't been as bad as yous (I've yet to not recieve an issue yet), but CP does seem awefully sloww at times.

Europe received dragon #353, and Canada, in north america, didn't receive the #352????
I spend 1 hour today at the phone with canadian post, listening to pre enregistred message, heard thousand of different menu, just to heard that the problem must be Paizo.... Come on guys, I have faith in you and your magazines, they keed me alive between gaming sessions!
sorry if it look like flaming, but im a subscriber of two other US magazine and I receive them on time this week!

Just to let folks know, there are lots of times in threads like these where I'm not certain if people are requesting replacement issues. If you're concerned about or have given up on a specific issue, please drop us an email at customer.service@paizo.com so we can look into it and get replacements mailed. Thanks!

Luc: For me, late issues are déjà vu. I searched through the archives for old threads I'd involved myself in, and exactly the same thing was happening last year between Nov. 2005 and Mar. 2006. For months I was fastidiously tracking how long it took my issues to arrive. The fastest issue was Dungeon #130 at 15 days and the worst offender was Dragon #339 at 78 days. I waited 51 days for #339 before asking Cosmo for a replacement. The original finally showed up a week after I'd received the replacement.
At that time Vic and Cosmo were bending over backwards to keep us disgruntled subscribers (especially those of us in Canada) happy. Here's a snippet of a reply Vic made to one of my posts a-week-ago last year (Feb. 15, 2006):
Well, we do have some problems within the US, so there are certainly USPS issues. But Canadian subscriber problems, especially in the last couple of months, have become noticably disproportionate. Canada Post problems seem to ebb and flow—when Paizo first took over the magazines, it was terrible. It got better, and worse, and better, and worse. Honestly, I don't know what we can do, though. We've considered offering a high-priority shipping option, but the extra cost would have to be insane, especially outside the US. We're open to ideas, though.
We seem to be in the "ebb" portion of the cycle again. All I know is that last year the delays cleared up around April and I stopped watching the calendar … until this January. :-(
Michelle: I've been away from these boards for some months, so your name is new to me, but I gather that it now falls to you to placate us in our times of complaint. Hi! :-D
As of today, Dragon #352 has been on the road for 50 days. But I know it's out there … somewhere … trying to reach me .... I'll give it another week. If it doesn't appear by March 1st I'll toss an email your way.

Tramarius,
Thanks, that's the kind of info I was hoping to find, I'm quite unhappy with it, but I can live trought. the most bizard thing is, the magazine is probably print here in Qc province, ship to the US, and then ship to canandian subscriber.
and for Michel, I guess I will have to live with some late issues over the year as Tramarius said.
Thank you and sorry for my bad english writing skill :P

Heh, that would be crazy. However, Dungeon and Dragon are actually printed in and shipped from the US (you can see a tiny little "Printed in the US" at the bottom of the credits block by the Table of Contents). In fact, the magazines are shipped directly from the printer, because they've got these cool machines that automate the labeling and sorting.

Here's a snippet of a reply Vic made to one of my posts a-week-ago last year (Feb. 15, 2006):
Did you catch the post I made a week later, after analyzing actual reshipment data? Turns out the numbers didn't confirm that there really was a systemic problem. (I know that's no consolation to the people who do have delivery problems...)
However, I do have to agree, it does seem that the number of complaints about Canadian issues starts going up in December every year, and dies down over the next few months.

Did you catch the post I made a week later . . . .
I must have, since I replied to it at the time, but missed it searching through the old threads to contribute to this new one. So the overall stats are still insignificant, eh? Hmm.
Anyway, I got Jeff's email about my replacement being on its way. Thanks again to everyone at Paizo for their hard work.
