So I noticed that the issue with Kyuss in it does not list a CR. By my calculations he is up around CR 35 not including his Divine Rank:
Class Levels (+30)
Worm That Walks Template (+3)
Being Huge (+2; +1 for ever size for every category over medium)
Any thoughts?
James Jacobs I beleive mentioned that Kyuss is roughly a CR 38. But if he can be "debuffed" by the various objectives around Alhaster, he can be lowered to a more reasonable CR 30 range.
Keep in mind that CR breaks down quickly at high level, relative to what your specific party can and can not do. A party with no one capable of casting death ward can expect many high level undead encounters to be "effectively" 4 or 5 CRs higher than listed.
Deities don't have CRs
The deity book says that foilling the plans of a deity gives experience between PCs lvl up to PCs lvl+7.
So killing Kyuss give XP around a CR 27 or CR 28.

Correct; Deities do not have CR scores. Defeating Kyuss should award xp as an encounter of average party level +7 or so. It's also the last encounter in the campaign, so in theory it's not really important. If you want to continue into epic levels after the encounter, thoguh, I'd suggest that the PCs get enough XP from defeatig Kyuss to pretty much level up. It's a pretty notable accomplishment, after all.
