Hi all,
We just had our first session last week, and there are still a few details that I'm trying to nail down. Exactly where we are on the Greyhawk calendar is one of those details.
I was all fired up about having the rainy (flood) season be more of a mid-to-late-summer monsoon, instead a winter rainy season, but I don't really care so much now. In fact, running the AP as written seems to be easier.
For those of you more familiar with how the timeline plays out, does it make sense to begin at the beginning of winter, say early Sunsebb?
Thanks in advance,
Ully

I'd split the difference and put it in late Patchwall or early Ready'reat. That way everyone can rest, recover, and craft items after the both of the first two adventures. Life's Bazaar, since it is so big, and the players might not hone in on Ghelve's immediately, can take a few days. Drakthar's Way might also take a while, especially if the PCs want exotic silver weapons after they meet the wererats or have little success in the investigation portion.

That's exactly what I ended up doing:
Life's Bazaar: Patchwall 16
Drakthar's way: Ready’reat 23
Flood Season: I treated the winter festival as being between Ready’reat and Sunsebb -- winter being the rainy season
Zenith Trajectory: Coldeven 14
Demonskar Legacy: Planting 6
