What the heck is going on with subscriptions?

My account status does not say that I have a subscription to Dungeon magazine anymore; what gives; I recieved one in December in the mail and nothing since, but wasn't worried about it until I dont see Dungeon showing up in my account page subscription status. I had this same sort of problem when I started recieving Dragon the previous year; something is really wrong up their in your subscriptions department. Am I really going to have to go through my records to find out how many times I have been billed for this; can somebody check and find out what is going on please, thanks.

The dungeon subscription you ordered in November is being shipped to a different name that what appears on your profile.

Unless the name that appears on the top line of the mailing label (i.e. first name, last name) matches your profile name (i.e. the name that appears at the very top of this webpage, after "Welcome"), then our subscription software has a difficulty automatically associating the subscription with the profile. Our system treats the subscription order as a new subscription, rather than a renewal and leaves it unassociated.

This is a known issue and to change it would require a fundamental re-write of the software, though we are looking at ways of alleviating the problems without breaking any features.

As for your Dungeon subscription, the first issue was #143, which shipped on December 12. Your next issue, #144, will be shipping out tomorrow (Jan 23).

I didn't receive my 142 issue (taken care of), now I haven't received my 143 issue. I AM showing Dungeon and Dragon in my subscriptions, and I'm receiving my Dragon issues...what is the problem with the Dungeon issues?

We're shipping them, so that's a question for the postal service. This time of year, because of holidays and weather, we suggest you give the post office up to three weeks... but you still should have had 143 by now. We'll reship.

Great, I see I got my ship notice already, thanks for the speedy re-send. I hope they start coming on time now. I was mostly concerned because it was 2 months in a row this has happened.

Magazine shipments are not the only thing that don't get processed by the post office this time of year. I missed a homeowners insurance bill and the subsequent late notice. I didn't get any notification of it until I got the "Your homeowner's insurance has been cancelled due to nonpayment" statement.

Trust me. Getting that sorted out isn't as easy as reshipping a magazine....nor as cheap.

Thanks for the update; am kinda curious why the names are not the same as I ordered them and I certainly have not changed my name. How do I check what that name is, my name after the welcome is correct. Thanks in advance,

You can check the name on the address of your subscription by either looking at who the magazine is addressed to on the mailing label (it'll be the first line), or by checking your mailing address that appears in the "My Subscriptions" section of your Paizo account. Once again, you will be looking at the top line.
