Hi folks I am looking for an older article that I believe was in the 1980's It was about how to really use a dragon on combat, I know the article had information on claw/claw/bite tail swipe, wing buffet and breathweapon guidelines any help as towhatissue this article was in would be appreciate.
There was Leonard Carpenter's "Dragon Damage Revisited" in issue 44.
More There was Thomas Reid's "Dragons: More Than Just Couch Potatoes" in issue 206.
There's been a lot of Dragon articles about dragons...

I realize there are a ton of articles but what set this one apart in my mind was the fact that it was set out to make dragons the fearsome creatures they are supposed to be and part if the article meantions that all to oftenkilling a dragon becomes ho-hum and boringbecause DM's do not play them accuratly. it was published before 1991 sorry i can not provide more info except i do believe the article first covered DRAGON FEAR. ty for everones help

Did you try the Dragondex?
The following entries are from the dragondex:
Combat: Damage
"Dragon Damage Revised" Leonard Carpenter 98(14)D&D1
"Dragon Damage Revisited"Leonard Carpenter 110(44)D&D1
98 and 110 are the issues of dragon, respectively. Perhaps these two are what you are looking for.
