Savage Tide Adventure Path

One of the girls in our gaming group is something of an artist. While playing through "The Sea Wyvern's Wake" last month, she took a liking to the NPC images included in the adventure. During play, the cabin boy, Tavey Nesk (nicknamed P.P.B. for "Prepubescent"), soon became a big hit with the party, and she wanted to know where his portrait was. I told her he wouldn't be drawn until the next issue, so she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Taking a blank sheet of paper, she quickly whipped up a portrait of the erstwhile cabin boy. But she didn't stop there. Finding a wayward popsicle stick, she brushed off the corn dog leavings from it, cut out the portrait, and affixed the drawing to the stick. And thus was born the P.P.B. puppet. Now every time the teenaged youth broke into a conversation in his squeaky voice, he had a face to go along with it.

With the arrival of "Here There Be Monsters," our artist friend took it upon herself to expand the cast of puppets. Now Amella Venkalie, Avner Meravanchi and Urol Forol (with Miss Cazzle in her sleeping cap) have been immortalized as works of art and DM-ing aids. Perhaps this tale will be an inspiration for motivated individuals to make NPC puppets of their very own.

I'll try to find a digital camera and put some images of the puppets online.

Thats pretty neat, I tend to do sketchs myself of my NPC's if there is none. I think its a good thing to see others do the same.

Are you the same Brainiac from Play By Web by any chance ?
