As we won't see a dragon in the STAP I wonder if we will see a evil Conjurer, Necromancer, Warlock or even an Archmage? In other words an arcane spellcaster in touch with Demogorgon who could send his quasit familiar to harass the PCs at every opportunity.

There will indeed be a dangerous wizard in the STAP. One so dangerous that it's probably for the best that the PCs don't try to mess with her (she's not going to be a combat encounter)...

Oh yes, I do, too. As I know very little about her. I have seen two approaches to stat her, but am really looking forward to see the official variant.
In the Dragon article in last year's Halloween-issue I have read that she is an ally of Demogorgon, but the preview suggests otherwise. Are there any events foreshadowing her appearance which do clarify her turn against the Prince of Demons? Perhaps her apprentice or such, an evil spellcaster with a quasit familiar named Timur? :)
