Has anyone created Affiliations (from PHBII) for SCAP? If so, please post them here or post links to them.
I think things like the Last Laugh, The Chisel, The Striders, the Town Guard, etc., would all make great Affiliations. Maybe even the Chruch of St. Cuthbert in Cauldron or other groups. Perhaps even Skie's Treasury could be handled by way of Affiliation.

I was just signing in to ask the same thing. Anyone? I'm not 5 pages into the Affiliations chapter yet, and I'm alrady brainstorming. If no one chimes in I'll probably stat them up on my own and post them (nothing immediately, though).
My group is buying an old warehouse and installing a tower to make it a "home base". I believe they are going to start their own affiliation. Soon the Ebon Shield shall expand it's influence over all cauldron!

30 sec PHB II org summary. By Shadewyn
1) Size of Org: Scale ranging from 1 (corner bakery) to 20 (multi plane). City based stuff is in the 8 to 11 range. Size determise MAX CAPITAL value. CAPITAL points are spent on EXECUTIVE ACTIONS and are regained after months of recovery or massive gold / resource donations from player characters.
2) Type of Org: Cabals, Trade Groups, Military, Researchers, etc … The type of org determines the access that the group has to EXECUTIVE ACTIONS. Militray folks can go to war, spy groups have various espionage or assasination actions, trade groups have various diplomatic actions etc …. These actions are controlled by the rulers of the organizations, with players having more and more influence as they level up until at max rank they can command them. Each use of an EXECUTIVE ACTION costs CAPITAL. Organizations are destroyed when their CAPITAL value hits zero.
3) Ranking: All organizations have 30 prestige levels. The organization then breaks those 30 down into groupings called RANKS such as level 1 to 5 = novice, 6 to 15 = journeyman, etc … Normally there are 4 to 6 ranks in a group.
4) Benefits: At each RANK level you gain a benefit. This benefit is tied to theme of group, power of group, and the prestige levels that the rank encompasses. Bonus resources, feats, skills, powers and such can come about from this that are tightly themed to the group and carry limitations in how they are used.
5) Duties: At each RANK level you gain an obligation. This duty is tied to theme of group, power of group, and the prestige levels that the rank encompasses. Duties can also include penalties such as a religious group duty may be all opposition religions have a bonus hit and damage on you now, or a racial group may have all hated races get extra DC to special attacks etc … as they are used to dealing with you.
6) Prestige Level Gain: to move from prestige level 1 to presitge level 30 you have to accomplish certain actions, donate X ammount, undertake Y missions, swear allegiance to Z people, etc … In addition most organizations have a 1/2 character level bonus so that at level 20 you have 10 prestige levels in your current group. This chart also has the penalties for bad actions. Players get an escalating penalty for each organization they join past the first.
