Issue #135 for Europe???

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

I never had to wait that long to get an issue of Dungeon.
I still don't have issue #135, and my FLGS says its not even on the horizon.
I remember a thread somewhere here, with non-subscribers talking about how fast they get their issues and me saying, that I sometimes have the actual issue here in Germany even before some of the US-subscribers.
After posting that, I have been waiting and I am still waiting for the final part of AoW.
I hope paizo doesn't keep those magazines back until they can be sure all the subscribers have their issue! Now #136 is available already and I am wondering what's going on...
Don't take this as critique, I am just wondering why it takes so long when it never had before?!

They want you to subscribe! ;-)

Two minutes ago I got the eMail from my FLGS that my order is on its way to me...
Now I feel bad.
But anyway, it took damn long! ;)

I have a subscription from the place for games, but still haven't got it. :(

I was lucky enough to spot a copy in my local RPing store last thursday at £3.99, but I may well get a subscription for the next AP.

The Exchange

I've said it before in other threads, but I'll reiterate it in case you have missed it. You can contact The Place For Games on the phone (best) or via email (not so good). They are fairly dozy but have their hearts in the right place. I suggest that if anyone has problems that they phone them directly - I don't know if they look at this website or not, and it is hard to see what the guys in Paizo can realistically do separated by time and distance.

That said, there are probably hold-ups and so on with getting the magazines across the Atlantic. I also suspect their maintenance and use of their database isn't great. But when all is said and done, if you have a problem with your subscription CALL THE PLACE FOR GAMES (sorry to shout). Don't buy it for yourself as the first resort. Call the guys who are dealing with your subscription - it is what you are paying them for. The Place For Games are always happy to help.

That said, could someone at Paizo let us know why they get the magazines so much later than in Europe? Shipping? Customs? Appeasement of dark gods? It would be nice to know why, at least. It is a bummer when we see posts about how great the new issue is, and we haven't even seen the one before that.
