Best class for a Raptoran

What do you think the best class/prestige class for a Raptoran is?
If it totally doesn't matter what anybody else is, just what could emphasize its strengths the most (I know many of you will say cleric: +1 Air Spells, but I don't really like clerics.)

Maybe a druid?

Druid would be good, but so would ranger. If you're sticking with the core rulebooks, perhaps a horizon walker.

I've made a group of Raptoran Mountebanks* and Hexblades with the psuedonatural and far spawn templates for use as villians repacing the dragons in the later AoW's adventures.

I'm now hooked on Raptorans and hope to use a normal Raptoran Mountebank as my character in my mates regular weekly planescape game. Either that or a Raptoran fighter.

I'm thinking about going fighter for about five levels, and switching to Stormtalon for some more (that bonus to air speed is really nice!)

For me i would the the Scout class from the complete adventurer would suit the raptorian well and i've found that keeping to the class itself is wicked. you might want to get a Dm apporval to get the speed bounus converted to air speed once you have HD to fly

Best class for a Raptoran? There isn't one, because Raptorans *have* no class! Hahahahahahahaha ha ha ha....*ahem*

I think archery is very powerful in general, and more so if you can fly. So my vote is arcane archer - a PrC I already really like. Get yourself there however you can, but I'd probably do it with a lot of fighter and the minimum required amount of wizard. You can also get there as a straight hexblade, but we all know hexblades are jerks.
