We thought we had enough copies of the Dragon Compendium to last us a few months, and then our biggest distributor placed a surprisingly large reorder. We've scheduled a reprint, but the printer is booked solid, so we probably won't have new stock until late April/Early May.
In the meantime, you can preorder the reprint; we also have some non-mint scratch-and-dent copies available at a discounted price.
Thanks for helping make this book such a terrific success!

I'm wondering if the "reprint" will be a second printing complete with the errata that has been found, or a literal reprint of the first printing, errors intact.
We had hoped to correct some of the errors, but the unexpectedly accelerated timeline prevented this from happening. It's a straight reprint.

I'm very sad that my local game store didn't get any copies of the Dragon Compendium in. I've had a standing order there for 4 weeks while they've tried to get it.
They've failed.
Now, I hear that there will be a 2nd printing, but I'm wondering if I should just wait for the revised edition (since it seems like that is going to happen).
I'd love one that includes updates from the mistakes thread. So, what's the official word on when or if the errated version will come out? Might it not hurt sales of the 2nd printing if the revised version is coming out in the near future? And how can I be sure which copy I'll be getting?
Thanks for answers to any of these questions.

It's not their fault—the distribution channel has been cleared out for a while, and will continue to be empty for a while longer.

I'm not sure where you're getting that. We're not going to revise it unless we sell out of the second printing, and get to put it back on press for a third time—and then only if we can work the logistics for the revision (which we were unable to do for the second printing). In short, don't hold your breath—it may be a long, long while. (Who knows, by the time it sells out again, 3rd Edition may be long gone!)
We are planning on releasing official errata electronically, though.

Owning a 1st printing, I was excited to hear about the 2nd printing. Figured I'd give mine to someone and buy the new one. Errata not incorporated? Pass.
Any timeline on getting the errata collected and ready for download?
