Ok this is from memory, so bear with me. :)
They were like a deck of cards but instead of being playing cards, they are monster cards from the MMs with Stats and such on them. I want to say I saw a brief writeup on them in Dragon?
It appeared to me that they could be used instead of having to flip through the books to look at the monsters or to have to make your own monster stat cards on index cards. (Seems silly to do, if you aren't modifying the base creature.)
I want to say they might be a wizards product.

My new DM uses them as well, though I'm not sure where he got them. He sure has a big stack though. He also has a huge collection of WotC minis. Though I've never looked at the cards, I'm guessing they're the ones meant for the minis game. I think these might be what you're thinking of.
Click on this LINK to go to a page that has a card on display. Then you'll know.

Thanks. That could be what I'm thinking about. Heck, I might be mixing two products up!
But I want to say that the back of the cards was all the same (similiar to playing cards) so that the PCs wouldn't necessarily know what they'd be facing next. Unlike the mini-cards.
I want to say that they were dark brown with D&D logo on them or something.
And they were MM creatures... Not the classed type of mini's.
But like I said, maybe I'm confused.
I think there was something like what I'm talking about in AD&D. http://paizo.com/store/downloads/wizardsOfTheCoast/aDAndD1/accessories/v574 8btpy7mbe

Yep, I'd heard of those AD&D cards, though I've never seen them up-close and personal.
I ran a quick search through Google for you. Check out THIS PAGE on En World. Granted it's not the product you're thinking of, and you'd have to print and cut out the whole works yourself, but it does have all the monsters from the v.3.5 SRD. These cards rather remind me of the Initiative Cards described in a Dungeon editorial a few dozen issues ago.

You know I think you are right! I think it was the initiative cards that I'm mixing this up with.
You know, maybe Paizo should get the rights to produce a set of MM cards based on each MM version? :) I know I'd buy them. Much easier than copying them over to 4x6 cards myself!
Thanks guys I appreciate your help in this.

The fine people over at the Game Mechanics (www.thegamemachanic.com) have the product you are looking for.
They are 4x6 index cards with all the stats you need to run the monster in the game.
They currently have a Set I out that covers roughly half the SRD monsters with a Set II (which I assume covers the other half) in their coming soon page.
I have Set I and they along, with a good printer and paper cutter are a fine product.

Set 2 is currently available (http://www.thegamemechanics.com/products/initiativecards.asp). Maybe Paizo and the Gamemechanics can work out something so the Paizo store will sell Game Mechanics downloads?
The Game mechanics also offers free blank cards for additional monsters not in the SRD as well as for PCs. I highly recommend checking them out (http://www.thegamemechanics.com/freebies/index.asp). I have both sets and make extensive use of the initiative cards in all of my campaigns and even now am working on making cards for my upcoming Shackled City campaign from the blanks.

My only recommendation is that you purchase some good cardstock to print them on. 20Lb paper is a bit too flimsy. And I think they are 3x5 cards... at least the ones I printed are.
I agree that regular paper is difficult to use. I mount mine on index cards (the cards are just a bit smaller than 3x5). Good card stock is expensive and index cards are cheap and uniform in size so irregularities in cutting are concealed. I use colored cards for PCs and (in a different card color) for animal companions and henchmen. For monsters and NPCs I use regular white cards.
